I never knew what a barbell was until now, I used to say "you know the one with the plates and the big bar in the middle" no one knew what I was talking about lol

I made the mistake of lifting a 40 pound barbell on my shoulders and doing squats. My neck was so stiff I had to put a hot water bottle on my neck to get relief.

Been going to the gym for 3 months now, i only use machines, free weights, and cardio because im scared barbells might hurt my back, but i really wanna try using barbells

No wonder why I have severe back pain someone had said to stand 1 inch away from bar! Which would lead to using my back more smh 🤦🏻♀️

Keep the head in a neutral position, slighthly looking down.
Your lifting with your back and not your legs which could really screw you over
