தரம் நல்லா இருந்தா நீங்க இருக்கும் இடம் எதுவாகயிருந்தாலும் மக்கள் தேடி வருவார்கள் என்பது அவர்கள் செய்து காட்டிய நிஜம். அந்த சமயத்தில் R.S.puram main roadல் GaneshBavan என்று ஐயர் கடை மிக நன்றாக ஓடிக்கொண்டிருந்து Mysore Bonda ரொம்ப famous. இவர்கள் பக்கத்தில் சந்துக்குள் Rangasamy chettiar கடையின் பின்புறம் ஆரம்பித்தாலும் ஹோட்டல் Neetஆக இருந்தது தரமாக மிக சுவையாகயிருந்ததால் மக்கள் வாய்மொழியால் பிரபலமாகி கூட்டம் நிறைந்து வழிந்தது. ஆனால் Main roadலிருந் த Ganeshbavan மிக குறைந்த வாடிக்கையாளர்களாகி வாடகைக்கொடுக்க கட்டுபடியாகாமல் காலி பண்ணிக்கொண்டு சென்றுவிட்டார்கள். இவர்கள் அதற்க்குபிறகு பலBranchகள் ஆறம்பத்தாலும் அதே சுவை maintain பண்ணி நல்ல பெயரெடுத்தார்கள். நல்லா பிளான்பன்னி அதே ஏரியாவில் socialclub இருந்த இடத்தையும் அருகில் இன்னொரு பெரியவீடுட்டையும் வாங்கி அழகான பெரியஹோட்டல் கட்டிவிட்டார்கள்.அண்ணபூர்ணாவில் உழுந்து வடை சாம்பார் காபி மிக பிரபல்யம். ஆரம்ப காலத்தில் வடை 20 பைசா சாம்பார் unlimited.இப்பொழுது டேஸ்ட் இருந்தால் எவ்வளவு விலை உயர்த்தினாலும் மக்கள் ஏற்றுக்கொள்கிறார்கள் . ஒரு நூறு ரூபாயுடன் போனால் காபி மட்டும்தான் வாங்கமுடியும்.ஆனாலும் அவர்களுடைய கடினஉழைப்பையும் அறிவு பூர்வமான தொழில்திறனையும் பாராட்டியே ஆக வேண்டும். இளைஞர்களுக்கு அவர் கொடுக்கும் அறிவுரை உண்மையாகவும் வெளிப்படையாகவும் உள்ளது. வாழ்க வளமுடன். ..

Was a regular for கீரை வடை in Central Theatre from 1967.Used to cost 5 paise then. Was fortunate enough to meet Late Mr. Damodaraswamy Naidu in 1980 in regard to a business deal. Was in daily touch for 2 yrs. A truly remarkable man from whom I learnt a lot. A poineer in history of Coimbatore!🙏

Breakfast : Sambar Idly Lunch : Vegetable briyani or sambar rice Supper : Cashew nut pakkoda Dinner : Single parrota or ghee roast This is what majority of cbe annapurna lovers menu ❤️❤️❤️ Pride of CBE

Im a proud coimbatorian.. As said I've referred many of my friends to have food in annapoornnaa.. Especially sambar idlli, panneer parootta, mixed veg noodles, mixed Veg Fried rice are amirtham..

Hard work. My foot. from Kamakshi Amman Kovil to Annapoorna hotel, auto charge is 100. In TN people hardly work as they want everything freebies, except Tasmac.

Success of this Interview is all about the interviewer..giving space to the interviewee.. Great job Hemachandran... Good insight

While Sri Annapoorna grew very fast I was moving at the pace God decided for my life. There are SO MANY stories (true stories) and each one has an interesting fact. 1982ல் கோவையில் மூன்று மாதங்கள் தங்கியிருந்தேன் அப்போது அதிகமாக அன்னபூர்ணாவில்தான் இரவு உணவு. இரண்டு இட்லி ஒரு புரோட்டா சாப்பிடுவேன். ஒரு இட்லி 35 பைசா புரோட்டா 75 பைசா. டிப்ஸ் 25 பைசா. இட்லி என்று கேட்டாலே சாம்பார் இட்லி கொடுப்பார்கள். முதன்முதலில் சாம்பார் இட்லி சாப்பிட்டது அங்குதான். அதன் சுவை இன்றும் என் நாவில் உள்ளது.

Beautifully said and explained. Damodhar Sir and my Dad were friends from the time Royal stall had opened and Mom bought things from here daily. We ate the vadai and coffee and later at Annapoorna. My brotherHarish 0:15 is a regular customer for the last 45 years ! The quality of food is still very good. So glad that Annapoorna is an iconic place in Coimbatore.God bless ull and May ull continue to grow.

In my 10 years of my living in Coimbatore not even single days passed without Annapoorna food ateast one coffee i would have had --it is inseparable -Family gettogether means Annapoorna visit--New concept "Family Dosa" -Dear Sri Srini forgot to mention in his interview--Such a big one dosa almost 4 ft long -entire family sits around and eating --what a wonderful days--Open kitchen -yes- anybody can see the cleanliness of the kitchen and the clean process of food preparations--I am not promoting Annapoorna --But it is our part of life --Coimbatore people are always the sweet people like Siruvani water and Annapoorna staffs are one step more -like Pollachi coconut water -such a wonderful people who gives respects to all customers. many more I can keep writing -- wonderful -my respects to them and best wishes on this Pongal festival

Very valuable thoughts. But Anna poorna should also ensure that if a guy spend around Rs. 60/- (without coffee/soft drinks) the customer should not feel hungry the next four hours. I mean the quantity offered is insufficient now-a-days.
