Greg, a hint for the close ups. Always put your your spare hand in front of the background. That way, the camera doesn't focus the candy in the back. You put the hand holding the candy between the camera and your spare hand, so we get a white background for the candy to pop in front of. Should allow for any future candy with amazing detail to really shine through.

I'm an engineering student and watching those rollers is so satisfying. They have that combined beauty that only purely mechanic machines have. The gears mesh with just the right play to turn easily and the pattern is self centering as the hot candy compresses against the surface, partly solidifying into an outer shell against the room temperature rollers. You don't need to crank it unnaturally fast and having just two moving parts is as elegant as can be. The naturally formed slip bearings between the rollers and the frame parts is the icing on the cake. Everything on it has a purpose. They don't make them like that anymore. P.S. Have you ever tried coating just the top side of a "sheet" with something as it comes out of the roller? I think something that would slightly dampen the taste would make the initial flavor last longer as that coating dissolves.

Awesome roller. I like the cleft it makes for the peach. I am moving to Florida in March and Tallahassee is on they way. I am going to be sure to make a stop in. I hope you have some unicorn droppings when I do.

I've watched that single peach drop refusing to let go of the roller at 3:40 three times now and it never fails to make me laugh 😹

I ordered these the day of upload, just got em and yeah, thats the stuff. Def my fav, black currant is weird, acid drops are great, nectar is actually a sleeper. Didn't like it at first until I try chomping the small sized pieces for a blast of flavor.
