You, our viewers have asked for a team up for quite a while, so when we did our Kickstarter last year we said we'd do a team up with Hercules, and here it is. Greg drove three days to get up there, but it was worth it. We made Orange Image candy with the folks at Hercules, and it came out great.

And they said Infinity War was the most ambitious cross over event in history.

Indeed
I was a candy maker at Disneyland, and this is the way I was trained to handle corn syrup. It's like riding a bike. Once you learn, you never forget.

I've wanted to approach Disney about shooting a video making candy with them. Do you think theyd be up for something like that, or would that be non-disney?
That's one reason why I love your channel Greg. You're not only just in business for yourself You travel all over sharing the love of candy with other candy makers and it shares the love of candy to us.

I absolutely LOVE how two "competetors" come together and exchange knowledge and fun facts and just have a good time. Everyone does it different yet you share the same passion. Love it!!!

only competitors for their online stores they live in different states so theyll have secured local market
PS these are the only two candy producing companies I watch on KZread. Please keep up the good work and keep those videos coming.
Came here from Hercules channel. What a neat video! You seem so nice and know a lot of different info, a lot more scientific. How interesting to hear about marble and citric acid too.
I was recently diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, maybe a couple months ago, and just discovered this channel last week. I've really enjoyed watching these videos, even though I can't eat any of it now. The irony is not lost on me.😩👍

This is worth having diabetes for.
I love Steve and Terry and its so good to see people in the same industry, rather than try and outstage, get along and teach each other what they know to keep an old tradition alive. Steve knows hard candy VERY well but does not know picture candy and it was wonderful to see him humble enough to take direction from another candy maker. Very classy. As a matter of fact very classy to all involved.
Great to see these two fantastic channels teach other some cool new tricks :) !!!
You have a great timbre to your voice....makes me wanna listen !!
I love the collaborative culture between candy making channels! It's a great vibe.
It was really cool of you guys to give him some candy, what a great smile
This is how it happened back in the day. People swapping skills and teaching one another in exchange for knowledge.
These videos are so much easier to watch now that I actually have the candy sitting next to me and can just eat some instead of wishing I had some to eat. I've shared it with a few friends and have gotten amazing reactions.
I grew up in Syracuse. Made me think most cities had craft candies. Seeing this video made me realize how few there are
My two favorite candy KZreadrs doing a collab. What more could I ask for!
This is literally one of the most wholesome and great-feeling videos I've ever seen. I just found this channel and I'm loving it, and I'm definitely already looking to buy some of your guys' candy! I hope you guys keep making videos, and make more videos featuring other makers!
It was good to see Hercules video of this, then come here and watch this version, both videos compliment each other well, your commentary was very good and informative, I’m so intrigued by the candy making process, it’s a trade I would have loved to get into. Thanks for sharing 👍

Whippy very cool watching both videos
I loved when these two channels worked together this is some of my fav on KZread
Best crossover in KZread candy history
LOVE the COLLABORATION! Companies need to do this more. Great to see Hercules from another perspective as well! :)
Been waiting for this video. You sir, are a busy man, and we love your videos.
STEVE IS A CERTIFIABLE MIRACLE WORKER! lol ... and Terry is an absolute saint lol
Just watched the video from Hercules Candy where they made a green apple image candy, which they're calling rock cut candy, for the first time! So, because of that, I had to come and rewatch this video!
I wanna say I appreciate you taking time to travel and meet other candy maker. I love the passion you show to your work. I enjoy it. I do wish I could visit your shop - I live overseas and far. I enjoy watching your videos and your explanations of things. Keep up the good work - I hope you wont get discourage. Love this series. ^-^.
I haven't gone through all your videos yet, but have you considered heading up to the Shane Confectionery in Philadelphia? They're pretty famous for their super detailed toy candy, and the Franklin Fountain nearby makes an AMAZING Root Beer float.

You have such a lovely giving nature 🙂 So nice to see you do a tag team video 💚❤️🍭🍬Candy Rocks 😉 Love the Hercules family too 💙💕
Oh my gosh I love both of your guys’s channels and this is amazing!!! Most out there crossover ever.
I love everything about this... the trading skills part made my heart melt.
Amazing. I actually found your channel through thier channel. They always spoke highly of you so i came over to check you out.
so i just came from their channel because i just found them the other day, and I've been watching your channel for a few years, and literally live 3 hours from hercules candy and you were there!
I just started to watch your channel a few days ago and have been watching Hercules candy for a month or so. It was really nice and surprising to come across this video!!! Thanks to you both for an awesome collaboration!!!
Beautiful final product. Nice video!
Well I'm glad this one's out I've been waiting for this one too come out on your channel thanks dude
Wonderful looking Orange candy!
i like how dedicated you are to your craft and other similar crafts nice vid as well
I’ve seen almost every video from both and I’m just now having this one show up almost a year after it’s put up. I love both channels and was excited when I seen y’all did a video together.
Grear voice and so informative!!! Thank you! Hope you videotaped the chocolate molding process you learned from Steve and Terry. I'll look for it.
I come from Syracuse New York! That's so awesome that you actually came here since it's a lesser known part of New York
Cool to see collaboration like this, looked fun!
Lofty and Hercules these 2 nations united and made candy history
Great video. I watched the Hercules candy video too and watching both perspectives was really nice
Amazing! The visits are great part of this channel
I have only recently been introduced to your channel and I never expected that I'd come across a KZreadr I recognize on your channel! No Egg Craig is a fellow vegan youtuber 🤗 thanks for reminding me that the world is small and sharing your knowledge with other candy makers! It's so cool that you are happy to share and not trying to keep all the knowledge for yourself.
They look delicious! Love to see you challenging your norms with a different type of heating/cooling! One of these days, I'm gonna' make it to Tallahasee!
I love them and you!!! This was fun to watch!!!
Collaboration is always a good thing. You learn from each other!
very cool... thats nice of you to share the love!!
I literally watch both of them because it’s satisfying to watch
Great collaboration!
I love Hercules candy! I cant believe two awesome candy shops made a crossover.
I'd love to see the video of them teaching you about chocolate! Nice video-enjoyed it!
Love your videos. You guys are awesome. We may just pass by your store in January!!
very cool , i watched the hercules version of this video first, so seeing essentially the same video with your audio over dub is cool
So my family is from Syracuse. We have migrated fo FL though and honestly have never heard of it. Something that made me laugh I was there for a funeral and went to ride my cousins horses. It was 80 degrees and they said "we dont usually ride when it's this hot"....It was so delightful outside I didn't even think that they may consider it hot. Might be jealous in the summer but not in the winter not a bit.
Aaah my two fave candy channels together!
Loved this awesome video guys ❤️❣️💙💚♥️
This is like a immovable object meeting a unstoppable force two legends in the candy business in one place very cool video
Marvel: infinity war is the most ambitious crossover in history KZread:
Greg. Found you and your YT channel from Hercules Candy's long video of this project. You're a good teacher with a deep well of knowledge and skill for the difficult art of image candy. Thanks for traveling so far to give the folks up in Syracuse a slice of your experience. Hope you were able to get some good takeaways from their multi-generational traditions. You're also a good video producer and narrator.

They taught me a lot about chocolate. The difference is, they already knew hard candy, just not my style, I knew nothing about chocolate. That was my first time working with it. I was not very good.

@@LoftyPursuits I spent two summers back in the '60s in my teens working in a candy factory here in southern New Jersey. (It made me lose my sweet tooth, which was a good thing.) :) Anyway, that's why I subbed to Hercules' channel. Now I have subbed to yours, from seeing you on theirs. Between just the boss and myself, we made many styles of fudge, pralines, butter almond crunch, Irish Potatoes, chocolate souffle, peanut brittle, coconut strip, black walnut chew, pecan logs and others I can't remember at the moment. We had water tables to cool the hard candies. But we never did any image candy like you do so well.

@@LoftyPursuits Thank you. But I think it's been too long now to remember anything useful now, that was over 50 years ago. I do remember though the figure 8 pattern of stirring the fudge with the long paddle and trying to avoid being spit at after the cream and butter were put in waiting for it to go back up to temp - around 238 or so. :)
I’ve been waiting for this
Yeah my two fav candy makers together. In my town we have home town candy store called winans chocolates. Piqua Ohio. Please check us out been here since 60's.
A crossover episode!
Florida, it's called the sunshine state for a reason
great Content Greg love it
I like how Max kept on peaking around Greg, trying to see what was going on lol
Greg is like the sweetest guy
The best crossover in candy history
What a great experience.
Max in the background ☺️❤️
Time to surprise them at their new premises Greg!
You should have a done a taste test with their chocolates ☺️🍫

Is there going to be a video of you making chocolate with them? :D
I found out about a day ago and I love this stuff it is so soothing for my anxiety. Thank you!
I saw a couple of clips in this video of pittsburgh landmarks. Did you visit any candy making places while here. I live in the Steel city!
I don't suppose anywhere is more humid than Florida. 65 degrees? That's warm for inside in New England. I've always seen candy made in copper kettles and on marble. So interesting to here a perspective not from New England
8:56 those fingertips almost got toasted
Hey where can I learn how to make candy like that I live in salsha Alaska
Steve n Terrys my favorite
Great vid
Gorgeous, as always. I get being "somewhat" jealous of the kitchen temps there as Florida isn't the type of heat you can explain to ppl.
I'd like to see them, closer to CT
I miss seeing them make candy in the old basement factory.
Greg the Eternal,Manipulator of Candy
This was posted on my birthday! :D
Yum!
Do you offer candy workshops?
Hey my two favorite candy KZread channels!
