A new technique for a new effect in our image candies. These Crystal Magnolia candies are formed from nothing but hot sugar, and flavors. This is the first in a series of candies using this kind of design.

There you go. While we don't have a licence to sell the stuff, the non profit had a licence to serve and sell it at their event.
Does anyone else get tired when u hear him and not because its boring but because his voice is so relaxing?
It's really amazing to me, how you can see this vision in your mind and translate that into the candy. It starts out as these meaningless lumps and ropes and pieces, and somehow turns into these incredible pieces of art. Watching how you put them together, I don't see anything, really. It's just bits and pieces and colors and clear. I listen to you explain what you are doing, but I still cannot see what you do. And then, unbelievably, these random things suddenly become just what you said they would be, and it's almost magical to me. I know that must sound silly. But really, to me it seems like you create something out of nothing, and I don't know what else you would call that.

When you pull the candy up and the hot breaks through the cooler shell...its my favorite.

I love how you're passionate enough to continue showing the world your art. I love your videos! You're a true legend, Greg.
I visited the shop last week! I live in Missouri and thought I never get to come, but we went on vacation to Florida! I came just in time to watch some ladys make nectar drop candies. I even got a special "peach cow" float! The shop is so charming and I hope you guys keep up the amazing job! :)

I am loving these crystal candies.
Science, History, Art, Machinery and Cooking. This is one of the best channels on KZread.
your mother's work is gorgeous! i am loving this series of floral candies, highly tempted to purchase some myself just for the heck of it. i will keep your business in mind as i will be moving house in a few months and i think your image candies would be perfect for a candy jar for guests to enjoy. keep up the amazing work!
One of my fondest childhood memories is a Magnolia tree we had growing in our front yard. I can almost remember the smell watching it. No exactly raspberry flavored, but close enough. Great job.
I just love watching the hot blobs of candy settle after you place it down on the table and especially after you cut it.
We moved from Tallahassee to Panama City. I only hate that I'd just found this place before we moved. My kids and I love this channel. We haven't found them making candy yet, but we've bought some we've seen made and had ice cream several times. This is a true gem in Tallahassee.
I love the music that you play softly in the background. Very smooth.
Omg unicorn dropping is such a smart way to sell the mixed left overs. I'd love to buy!
it’s literally impossible to hate this guy. his job is to make people happy. what else could you want?
Just recently found this channel, and I dont know why but watching all these videos is so relaxing...
Magnolias were always something special for me too. My state, Louisiana, has the flower magnolia. My aunt painted a picture of magnolias that has been hanging in my room for longer than I’ve been alive. I went to a catholic school and we celebrated Mary’s birthday with flowers but I didn’t get to bring any so a teacher gave me a magnolia. It’s just always something with me and I feel something sort of nostalgic about it.
As far as I'm concerned you are a superhero. I have loved image candy since I was a child. There has NEVER been image candy more beautiful than what you create. In the way you like looking into the candy as the creator, I love looking into the candy sort of like a child looks into a kaleidoscope. It's sort of magic. It's almost too beautiful to eat. I keep holding it up to the light. " It is a kind of magic" I wonder if you could put together a stained glass pattern that the light comes through. Looking at these amazing flower art candies makes my imagination run wild. Thank you for sharing your talent with us in such a delightfully tasty way.💖

Hmm. I think I could, but since stained glass reduces the resolution, I wonder if I could make an image that would be recognizable just out of geometric shapes.

Something tells me that's how he got his idea for a toy shop....he must've heard a lot of stories as a child, because clearly he has the imagination, and his mom does art too so it makes sense.
I absolutely love the clear candies with flowers. I need more in my life.
How much do the unicorn droppings cost?
Lovely video!! the flower crystal candy always looks amazing and you always do such a terrific job! just wondering why it's unlisted though??

i like to watch you make candy but for some reason i find these videos very soothing the way they are formatted help ease me to sleep. i love the way you talk so fluidly and easily about random topics in between describing the process its almost poetic and pretty informative
My 4-year-old loves these videos, constantly asking if there's a new one to watch. Keep up the amazing work!
Every last one of your videos gives me so much satisfaction I can't even explain it to you. Baking and candy making is an obsession of mine
I recently discovered this channel and it has really helped me out of a rut... watcjing someone so elated by doing something that seems so simple and meaningless, that some woild describe as nothing but the leading cause of cavities, but that you clearly relate more to the youthful, hapiness-filled days of childhood. I hope one sday i can possess such cratsmanship as to do something like this, and to do it so passionately yhat millions of people come to watch a simole man kneading sugar.
I literally watch your videos to go to sleep. You're just super calm Greg
Your life sounds like a dream!! Thanks so much for sharing it!
I get stressed easily....watching your videos help me to calm down so massive thnx

I love seeing you pull the coloured parts as well as the white. And the design is looking good!

i always find myself watching you guys late at night. your videos are very relaxing. i love your content so much!
Why,..Thank you I think I will sit down and relax for a second ! Or 5hrs😜
Gorgeous work, as usual! Magnolias are such a gorgeous flower. I wonder, can you buy hibiscus flavouring? Hibiscus has an unique flavour and a bright pink colour. How about saffron? Yellow crocus flowers (maybe not botanically accurate, but yellow is associated with saffron, to not have it would be like making blue lemon candy, just wrong) and a flavour of saffron and honey. How about it?

this is one of my favourite channels, watching you makes me feel relaxed when I'm feeling stressed. one day I would love to come visit but unfortunately for now I have to finish new zealands school curriculum :( but when I'm older I definitely will!!!
I LOVE the crystal candy! it's fun to try something new
I always watch your videos as soon as they are posted. But yesterday I had 2 seizures so I wasn't able to. Good news is that I'm feeling much better and still enjoy your videos and the skill that it takes to create these beautiful candies.
I love all things vintage, and candy is no exception!, but what really makes me love this channel is how educational and full of historical facts these videos are!. I love watching the process, especially the pulling!. Thank you so much for this channel. If i ever get to Florida, this will definitely be on my list of places to visit.
I find watching the cooling process so relaxing!
I really enjoy watching your videos, and I've been contemplating buying some candies for my nephew's birthday They all look so good...

+Malice Stripes I've been thinking of putting in subliminal messages to take advantage of this. Since so many kids watch these videos, it would be things like clean your room, eat your vegetables, do your homework early. Most people don't know this but these are the actual messages that are played when you play Heavy Metal albums backwards.
I love your videos! You have such interesting commentary, and I've learned lots about candy history & making. It's easy to see you have a passion for your work & it's a pleasure to watch. Thank you for sharing! 😊
I CAN’T STOP WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS.
I love watching your videos! very relaxing.
I love this youtube channel. The videos are so relaxing. I love the music, the history lessons, learning about the candy making process, its just wonderful

Haven A. Now a word from our sponsor. I am pleased to announce Nightvale has a new resident! With his merry team of candy acrobats, Lofty Pursuits will bring to new treats, tricks, and most pleasant glass creations to our town. I hear they make all their props using ancient, secret methods with what sounds like an ancient recipe stolen from indigenous peoples. They bring with them heavy steam cauldrons, beating on them like drums, with acrobats catching hot liquids with their hands, faces painted with food dyes- They promise to host shows daily for viewers, and even a web series for those of us with access to computers! Come visit Lofty Pursuits today

gosh watching your videos is like really really relaxing. I'm so glad found your channel! I might order some candy too!
my dream is to one day come to this shop and watch these beautiful candies being made in person 💖💖💖
I got unreasonably excited when I heard you beginning your "When we pull candy, it traps millions of tiny air bubbles" explanation. Maybe it's just me, but I've missed that phrase
I love Magnolias, they look so elegant and peaceful.
I don't remember how I ever stumbled upon this channel but I think it's just wonderful. Great job and thank you for sharing your work. I'm a big fan! Cheers
You should definitely put these on the online store! My entire family would love them, but no one will humor me with the 3 hour drive to Tallahassee.
Oooh I just found a new channel to binge watch!!!!! You're so talented, and it was a pleasure to watch you! Also, I loved the music, and the painting was beautiful!!!!
I love watching these videos. This is one of my favorite yet. I just wish I wasn't allergic to corn syrup so I could eat them!!!

These videos are as satisfying and interesting as the glasswork videos. Maybe it's the ability ofnthe craftspeople to see what they are making before they make the product.... what amazing talents! So cool to watch the candy take shape...😀
I love the crystal candy, it looks so good
Your Crystal flower candies are so exquisite. You are truly a master of your craft 😊
Love it when you drop knowledge on us! More trivia!

Amazing as always, Greg. Keep up the fantastic work.
I have a new obcession, watching you make beautiful art in hard candy form. Sweet!
I love this candy. I remember as a kid I went to visit my Grandmother in Colorado, I ate some Rose flavored candy it was delicious. I think all of us wondered how they put those images in that candy. I went to order the lavender and rose flavored. Yummm
I love seeing wisteria blooming every spring and early summer. Gardenias too
You have such a soothing voice and your skill with this lost art is just phenomenal to watch. I always learn something from your voiceovers too! Thank you so much for filming these videos.
MY MOST FAVORITE ONE YOUVE DONE YET!!!!!!!!
This is such art an a touch of magic to put these colors together in sheets, stretch an roll an get a design
So much effort goes into your videos and your craft, keep up the good work!
Aw, i saw the thumbnail and got really excited thinking these were going to be magnolia flavored. The sunflowers, too - so many tasty flower flavors people miss out on (I actually had made sunflower candy at home just a few days ago!) I don't know if anyone even makes magnolia flavoring commercially, but you could probably get something similar using ginger and maybe a bit of pandan and jasmine flavoring. The end result are gorgeous little works of art! Image candy feels kind of magical to me and these delicate little flowers in the clear setting are extra lovely. Really curious if combining the shapes to get the sliced design you want is intuitive now or if maybe there's some tests on modeling clay or something similar before doing a new design for the first time?
I love all these flower candy videos you're making ☺️
U cutting the candy and still goey on the inside is AMAZING I LOVE IT
I've watch all your crystal candy videos so far and I think this is my favorite. I love magnolias. I look forward to all of your videos and hope to come to Tallahassee from the Treasure Coast to visit soon.
I'd buy opaque flower flavored candies. Especially the rose ones :)
💞💞💞💞❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤💋💋💋💋Greg, this one goes right up to the top of My Favorites. I'm singing, tapping my toes (no bed dancing today). Magnolia is the State Flower of Louisiana so I will be on the website placing my order in seconds. I have a feeling I will be stingy with these as with the roses and will be watching the video as I put one in my mouth. Give everyone a hug for me and thank you so much for transporting me. I REALLY needed it today.
