WOW! Thank you, michael steven, for your very kind comment. 😇👍 I really hope that sharing my story, experience, and knowledge will help other people on their health and fitness journeys. I also appreciate your endorsement of my deserving more subscribers. 👊😇 So long as I keep producing content that is valuable, helpful, and honest... and so long as I continue to put in the work to continually improve my content... the subs will come. And I actually like my channel being the size that it is... it allows me to respond to 100% of the comments I receive, directly connect with and support more people, I can get a better sense of what questions/needs people ACTUALLY have (as opposed to my just making stuff I randomly feel like making), and it allows me to potentially take more risks, experiment, and refine my skills without fear of losing my livelihood since this is still just a passion project / hobby / learning experience for me, LOL. And as for the supplements for my skin... NO. I do not take any regular supplements to aide in my skin recovery or loose skin reduction. I DID, for all of 5 days like a year ago, try some vitamin E oil which I applied to my loose skin, but that was a very brief moment that I quickly discontinued. It was so short, in fact, that I have no real opinion as to whether it would help or not. Instead of supplements, I'm just focusing on staying physically active every day, eating high quality food, getting plenty of protein (about 1.7 grams of protein per kg of bodyweight at the moment), avoiding sun exposure, trying to rest appropriately, etc... and time and patience. I hope this answers your question. Again, I appreciate the love and support. Wishing you all the best!!!

Thanks, Silva24 yep! 👊😀 I'm super glad that you found value in my video. I hope to be able to share plenty more gold with you throughout this journey... Do let me know if there is anything specific you would like to know about. I've been making my videos a bit haphazardly and mainly making content that I feel like sharing, but I would like to start including more content about the things that matter to YOU and everyone watching my videos. All ideas are welcome 😇 Hope you enjoy the rest of your good day!!!

I'm with you on the not taking enough pictures as well. My regret came in July of last year, because I did 100 push ups, sit ups, and squats for the whole month of July and seeing the two pictures side by side with mind you on the scale it was only 3 pound difference there was a huge difference between the two physiques. Shows how the number on the scale isn't all that important as long as you are healthy. For my height my max weight should be 160 assuming I am not working out and just living. If I was 170 pounds of mostly muscle, am I overweight? No of course not there's always exceptions to the rule. For me, I wish I had all the info that worked for me but trial and errors is the way that got me there in the first place haha. I'm just happy that through my trial and errors it has helped those close to me. They had the misunderstanding that you have to work out all the time or go to the gym to get results, but I had results with just walking as my starting point and they saw my results. My girlfriend has lost weight with no exercise, just focused on her calorie count since it works best with her school schedule right now. It all just depends on the people themselves. My only other recommendation to people is do things you like so it seems like you're not even working out. I'm pretty excited to see my next progress picture when I take it July 1st. So then I can share from january 1st and July 1st another 6 month comparison and see how it went for me. More trial and error coming my way haha. Currently 147 now, another 11 pounds to go just so I can say I lost 100 pounds myself.

Well said! I couldn't agree more with everything you say. I especially like your comments about the learning for yourself through "trail and error" part, the common misconception about believing that you have to over-train to lose weight, and that you remind us all that our fitness journeys will be unique for all of us. 😀👍 Can't wait to see your next progress photos!!!!!

Great tips for those of us in the beginning of the long road. Has the gradual tightening of the loose skin come to a halt or do you continue to see results? Congrats on the results, amazing how far you've come.

Thanks, sjaelfre! 👊😀 I really appreciate your words of encouragement, and your question. My loose skin progress seems to have halted. I stopped training my abs daily about 7 months ago, took a few months off, and for the last 4 months have been focusing on my pullups and basic compound movements (deadlift, squat, bench press, shoulder press) while also getting more into jogging. That being said, my weight is also up about 4-5 kilos from my absolute lightest (and that's totally OK! It's a "healthier" resting weight for me anyway!). All THAT being said, this month of January was the first time I ever started tracking my calorie and protein intake using My Fitness Pal. I'm curious to see how focusing more on compound movements and having my nutrition consistently on point will do not only for my overall physique, but also my loose skin. My hypothesis is that my loose skin will remain, but that with added overall upper-body AND lower-body muscle mass thanks to the compound movements that the loose skin will look like it has tightened up simply because the rest of me has filled out. I'm about 1 month finished and I think it will take about 3 months to really get solid results. Rest assured that I'm documenting all of it : )
