HAHA! Indeed, finding out your maintenance calories can be quite the eye-opener! We often her generalized numbers (like "eat 2,000 calories per day"), but these statements are an average of the entire population. Everyone is different. Finding out YOUR maintenance calories for yourself is worthwhile for everyone to do. 😀👍

Welcome to the club haha, for me that I have been doing it for a year now it became like intuitive eating. You see what something looks like and have a better idea of how many calories or at least within the ball park of it. Temptation is everywhere there's no escaping it haha For example today at work for breakfast there was breakfast sandwiches from mcdonalds and donuts, for lunch they had a pizza party. The occasion was that we were busy due to Valentine's Day and we work for a flower shop. I just got a slice of pizza as much as I love donuts I had to say no this time. I don't want to say no to free food but sometimes it has to be done I would've easily gone over my calories for today haha. On cheat days is such a relief to cut back and just enjoy food without thinking about it, but I also like seeing what I can swap in and out on my non- cheat days. Like today I can have the slice of pizza but it means I don't have my granola bar. My only thing about weight especially right now is that since I am working out and building muscle but yet burning fat the weight can stay the same. I've seen people look better and healthier but they have a higher weight and most people will freak out about that. Once I reach my 100 pounds loss I'm not going to care about the number anymore as long as I know what I am doing is helping me in the long run and the weight just is what it is haha
