The fact of not living up to our potential is a key motivator for Me, from someone who feels that much of my life has been wasted, all I can do is make the most of what time I have left!
I've been sober since last October, finally after struggling for over 10 years. Alcohol dependence is hell and once I truly experience life sober quitting is a no brainer
Hey bro, I am following you since very long time. After plenty of failure attempts I am still trying to quit and now I am 12 days sober... I want to thank you for saving my life with your superb videos.

Good luck my friend. I tried many times but this time "took". This more modern outlook on sobriety has helped me very much.

Made it past day 100.. 102 days sober today.
Day 59 for me, and no desire whatsoever. Having a friend over tonight who I always drank hard with. Told her it’s BYOB from now on. I’m looking for word to a nice evening of food, ginger ales , and friendship. Especially looking forward to no hangover tomorrow! OMG it’s the best! As much as enjoyed my first few drinks, it usually went downhill from there. Drinking makes me lose my appetite for good food, and it made me so sleepy. Now I fully enjoy company and love that I can be present for them.
How funny is that, that people will wake up in the morning, say to themselves that they'll never do it again, but that evening are back at it again. Part of that is our body and mind's ability to forget ill feelings, think of a person who runs a marathon. I have, and after the race, you say to yourself, I'd never do that again. After a couple of days, you are thinking about the next one. That said, the other part of that is the addiction. Your brain will start asking for the substance when it senses a shortage after some time passes and it is used to having the substance. That is the simple explanation for a craving. This is a mental game, no two ways about it. Thanks for the great video!

Addiction is real, never had an alcohol addiction when I was on meth, now that I’m off meth for 15 years I find that I’ve replaced it with alcohol, addiction is addiction, and I’m tired of giving up my self control to a substance, including nicotine! Trying to move on!
I wanted to stop and take a moment to express my sincere thanks for sharing your story and wisdom with this community. Your work has been extremely helpful for me and I will pass along the blessings to others today.

Struggling at the moment, need to quit, trying to quit, don’t like myself anymore!
Great stuff. I am 6 weeks in and I feel positive. I know it’s going to be tough but as you say it could be the best decision of my life !
Keep doing the great things !!! May God bless you
I like it how Leon uses points with the same examples (like driving on the left side of the road) from Allen Carr's "Easy Way to Control Alcohol" without attribution :))))))))))))))
Good man thanks Leon I'm 14 months sober after 30 years drink addiction. I'm happy not drinking too and it gets all the assholes out of your life 🙂
Working 12hr shifts and doing nightshifts helped me alot. Just need to stay busy!
Yes, feel pity for the average drinker. They are so unaware!! Rock on Leon!!
Been watching your videos for a long time. Something always hits. When I feel I’m on top of my boozing and have a break, I eventually go back to where I was! Might be the time to get in touch, I relate to so much of what you say! Feel like I won’t “fit in” as a non drinker but want that so bad. I want to be healthy again. Old ish video but still as always great advice. Thanks 👍🏼
Thanks again for these today is day one for me:)
Not a massive alcoholic but can see my self needing 4-6 a night with the occasional blow out and I’ve mainly got control but I can see it negatively effecting my life with money wasted motivation and weight. Definitely wanting to quit for good juts really scared, match that with social anxiety.
great video Leon. Thankyou. Also - big props to your lighting/set / sound quality. looks bloody amazing!
That last point is profound! Have you ever had a Balter XPA though?
THANKYOU . . ALWAYS USEFUL. . LOVE UR CHANNEL I RLY HATE ALCOHOL N HATE MANY OF FRIENDS R SLAVE OF ALCOHOL
The death bed bit kicks in for me. There’s a guy I met and haven’t seen since 2001 we grew up together and he’s done very very well he looks great lovely wife and family and successful in his business. I’ve done well too maybe not quite as much but it hit home that 20 years goes by and we’re getting older drink will stop fulfilment of life and one day you go. Oh shit I’ve wasted so much money and time
Have you thought about working with Apple? Messing, keep up the great videos.
In my U S state, the latest vaccine distribution promotion in my state is that a local brewery will give you a coupon for a free can of beer if you get jabbed. Other states are promising incentives like a complete and total waiver of tuition and housing costs for four years of college as the grand prize of a lottery scheme or a free brand new automobile or a check for one million dollars. One state on the East Coast of the U S is promising a coupon for a free shot of whiskey if you get a jab of vaccine. Should alcohol be used as a reward prize for getting a COVID 19 vaccine jab?
Best video you’ve done so far man. Bar none.
Thank you!! Your videos really help!!
Awesome vid Leon thankyou 😀
#8 is the most powerful one. But to be convinced of that, we have to know (not think) we're going to die someday.

Not a hypocrite, just human, just a person. You are are doing great by noticing it veering you into a ditch and taking steps to correct the course in time👍🏽
Alcohol doesnt really make me happy, it just numbs me to feelings I dont want to feel, thats not real happiness, its just an escape.
I am able not to drink for a month or two and not crave alcohol when I'm alone but when I am around people who are drinking I want to drink 🤮
In my opinion, the fear he is talking about is the fear of no fancy, pleasant parties, and no exciting fun in life.

Isn't alcohol illegal in Dubai anyway?
You spelled enhancement wrong 😀
......chronic liver disease might be an incentive to stop drinking? Have a look at what it looks like and listen to those who suffer from it. That should be enough to put you off. If not.....best of luck to you.
hello Leon
Do you have cheat days? 😀
You took too long to get to the 8 reasons

No he didn't. It's a 12.5 minute long video. He has the intro and then 8 other parts of the video. Each reason is a part. That's 9 separate things to go over. So he spent roughly 1 minute and 23 seconds on average going over each thing. That's actually pretty fast.
