I wrapped my Honda Civic Si twice in vivvid. It was a major PITA to work with. I recently wrapped a spoiler on my Porsche with 3M satin Black and it was immensely much easier. I am a novice and i felt like the 3M came out really good. the dry PPF is intriguing.

I wanna wrap my car for sometime and have been watching your videos for about a month. Its crazy how much youve Tought me so far.

My opinion, flexi-shield looks best to me. I can tell, u are a master in your field. Great analysis, video! 👍👏

I can't find that Flexishield Gloss Black PPF with Air Release literally anywhere

This was the perfect video for me. I’m scheduled to pick up my 2025 Range Rover in April next year; and plan to take it straight to the wrap installer. The Flex Shield dry seems to be the best option

Im going through this right with a civic type R...it's insane to try and figure out with all the different brands and materials and installers...the stek film itself costs over $3500 cdn for my vehicle

Cant say thank you enough for your comprehensive videos. I'm just an amateur but want to tackle blacking out my roof, I tried vivid for my hood and fought it the whole time (took all day) I want to try 3M but the glue lines make me nervous and Avery sounds nice but seems to have the least durability. Which would you recommend? Thanks again even if you dont have time to reply, really appreciate all you do!!!

Would the vivvid be a good choice for chrome delete or would the 3m or Avery be better? Great video!!!

This may be an odd question, but are any of these films glossy on the adhesive side? I’m imagining making a black mirror by putting this on the backside of a sheet of glass. Thank you in advance.

The Flexishield looks like The way to go. @ $1500 for a roll is expensive, it looks like this is the way to go to Cover up my aging Porsche paint.

Spend as much time as you can laying it before you heat it, and only heat it a bit. Also it was a lot easier if you have 1 person heating and one person stretching. That's what helped me at least.

I’ve been using Vvivid’s vinyl and it has been really forgiving due to its thickness. I notice that it doesn’t wrinkle too much and is pretty pliable. Your videos have made my wrapping much easier

I've been wanting to ask if you'd be able to do a chrome comparison between brands? Like, how is Teckwraps chrome $700 USD or so per roll yet something like Avery Chrome is over $2,100 USD per roll? That's 3X the cost. What would be the advantages versus disadvantages other than price?

Trust me you don't want to see how bad Teckwrap chrome is. They sent me a roll to wrap a car with, I was going to wrap my mom's car in it. Couldn't even complete a hood. It took 8 attempts to get a very easy fender down to the point of "acceptable". The film should be pulled from the market. I can show my conversation with the owner. @@Eddie89 Avery is chrome is easier to install as opposed to Hexis but the gloss finish of Avery chrome is very textured and not clear. While Hexis is more difficult to install but the gloss finish has next to no texture and is extremely clear. Avery comes at 53" tall and 75 feet in a full roll while Hexis comes at 54" tall and 81 feet in a full roll. I was under the impression that APA had pulled their chrome after all of the issues years ago so I don't use it.

I just want a dark black with zero orange peel 😮‍💨 still can't find it

What about KKVinyl which has a better finish than Inozetek and cheaper? You don't recommend it anymore?

LOL Better than Inozetek? First and only person to suggest anything is better looking than Inozetek.....

One wrapper told me that the most expensive vinyl wrap doesn't mean it's better.

Any aura vinyl?

This is strange because in Poland (I think Europe) we have oracal 970 RA black gloss with transparent glue, and this vinyl is hard to wrap. First time when Oracal push RA on the market it was grey glue.

What about TeckWrap?

I used cheetah wrap for my first time it was affordable used it on my hood and roof not the best but it works good still have it on my 2019 honda accord for around 4 years I'll be changing it this year going to wrap my whole car this time I wrapped a 2011 honda accord also with there matte purple forgot the actual color name

About that Vvivid,is that ultra gloss piano black? Thank you

They all look nearly the same but if you get it in tpu then it'll be self healing

VVivvid has a nice finish and i got a 100' roll for under 500$ but they sent it without the cap sheet. its almost like if youre not a professional shop they dont care about what they send for product.

Most of the manufacturers have different lines that they offer and they're not always the clearest with their catalog of products. I know looking at Teckwrap you kind of have to understand the company and how they've constructed their products stacks and you'll figure out which lines offer greater clarity based on the backing liner.
