I am 80% deaf and I heard you perfectly because you have a great voice and you speak so clearly. And I usually have trouble with North American accents! I'm looking for a line of work to get my grandson into and your method of showing us what can go wrong then correcting it, will be a great help I'm sure. I won't let him get started on a real job until he's done it perfectly on my car a few times. Thanks again!

It's also worth mentioning that when you wrap, you want to stretch the material as much as you can w/o heat, and then only add heat when needed. Too many people rely on heat to stretch the material, which results in over stretching. And by doing that, it will always want to return to normal, when re-heated by the sun. By stretching it as much as possible w/o heat, it can't shrink itself back down later on when it gets hot, because it was never over stretched with heat in the first place.

Heat and cold will ALWAYS make the vinyl jump the gaps on inset body panels, the only way to avoid this is to cheat by completing the 'gap' with a strip (quite invisible and acceptable. - If it's a body cover printed graphic, good luck.

What I found interesting was the squeegee pressure. I used avery gloss black for a roof the other day and I got wrinkles. With avery gloss black being as thin as it is, I actually felt that I was putting to much pressure and was stretching / pushing the film forward causing wrinkles. So I made it stick first before applying more pressure. It worked, but it is an extra (unneeded?) step.

Man, I've watched you do so many mirrors in one go. I keep struggling to get em right. Granted, I'm doing the same one over and over, but I think I might have finally understood what you're doing now. Time to try again this weekend!

This doesn't look too difficult. I have a bit of history with wrapping, mainly flat wooden surfaces. I got a car dirt dirt cheap. So cheap irs sickening I just hate the idea of it being white. Thank you for your videos! I'd rather out i the effort to have it orange! Thanks again:)

You the man, this video is dope because most show you how to do things but leave out the mistakes and you end up having to figure that out yourself. Not that that’s a bad thing but now I can go in knowing what to focus on to not screw myself in the end. Thanks bra

I see, so when your hands are in the right place you're less likely to stretch and distort and more so spreading the vinyl out to lay it down. Thanks man!

I was wondering if it was that or just a really nice tool... Had to rewatch to look closer, 17:54 you can see the raw edge of the wrap and that rest of handle isn’t covered. He should have the apprentices at his shop make these and sell them! 😂

It takes practice and the vinyl isn't set right away so you can lift and set a few times although it sounds like you're ripping off the whole panel with it. Lol. Like the other person said it could be the brand/type of wrap. Try something thicker. Just be patient. Remember he's in a controlled environment indoors so contamination is minimal and he's a pro so bubbles don't happen with him but it does when you're learning. 😁

You have no idea how great full I am for your time and the fact that you sacrifice quite a bit of Material in order to School us in the right direction.... I have been a Professional Paperhanger for over 30 years and this past weekend did a practice run on my 124 Fiat spider...Would not have turned out half as nice without your knowledge and experience. I have hung Silk Handprints Murals....Ceilings you name it...So I have a feel for handling delicate materials... to Me This is almost second nature once you get a feel for the behavior of the Wrap. I Am Hooked and again I thank you!!! Cheers

I just had my bike wrapped. But I didn’t found this video before. Now I feel like I cand do it better and I will try to wrap my helmet. You have my apreciation and definetely my subscription. Just have one question for you : Do you recomend buying expensive vinyl or you think the cheap one it’s good enough? I have payed for my vinyl around 4€/m2 and I’m afraid to stretch it. Thank you verry much!
