I have to say that out of all of the 3D model printing channels you all have the best models, best music, and best time lapses. I wish I could put a bunch of your videos together and just have them in one long 2 hour block that I could put on when I am puttering around the house as they are awesome and soothing at the same time. One question for you on the incense burners as you have done a few - I printed one not too long ago that has a tiered shelving effect and it's awesome with the smoke flowing down with fluid (I'm excited to try some of your others). I put the metal washer in like you did on your various prints, and it sort of melted into the top of the print. That and there was an extra smell like the plastic was almost burning (it wasn't), but considering the metal disc was melting into the print something clearly was happening that was sub-par. I wanted to see if you ran into either of those scenarios and if you did what you did to potentially address them. Please keep up the excellent work.

Thanks for the kind words!! I usually pull the incense cones off before they fully burn down. I think the down draft cones tend to leave a little residue that has a weird smell. Maybe some left over oils or something. Petg would probably hold up better but I haven’t had any of these melt yet 😉

Everyone is wondering what kind if filament, software, and settings this person is using. I'm just wondering how they made a time laps without showing the filament extruder.

The incense model is nice BUT how is it that the material doesn't melt from the heat of the incense? Cause I've tried to make my own looking like a Dino Graveyard using this Technique with the washer. But the material melted from the heat of the incense and the washer. Like a hot knife

I love how those prints look finished, the only thing I'm looking a bit concerned is that I'm more into practical parts, I love to see someone rebuild an angle grinder part, a cover/carter from a scooter that is missing, pannels and door handles for cars and stuff like that, practical building, or even more industrial use like vaccuum tunnels for parts, gears for line feeders, all stuff that I mostly consider. More the use of chlorine and fluorine addition into materials for chemistry put into filters screws that don't crack under heat and corosive ambients, or self lubricant parts like sliders, wheels, gears, and so on.

You can definitely print some of those items ideally in a stronger material. I designed and printed a pool skimmer flap in petg and it’s being used in a chlorine pool for the past 3-4 years. It’s still holding strong. The material used will depend on environment and use case. I mainly follow designers that do functional parts in 3d printing.
