The B58 is a very strong engine to go from 300 ish hp to 700hp. That's just crazy 😎

i love this channel. Among them, the m140i is my favorite. I want to ride this m140i in Japan.
Personally i do like the basic grey details on an estoril M140i more instead of black. You absolutely did an amazing job on how the car sounds after such dramatic changes! I really like that! Nice review as well 👏

The cooling is probably the best part of the b58 system lmao . 600 hp b58 still use stock air box . The intercooler are also air to water … I’ve never heard someone say cooling is an issue

Always great to see another M140i on the channel, and this one is just incredible. Mine is a RWD and just a lowly 455bhp/634nm but it's fast enough for a daily !!

Does it run fine after tuning? Many engines fail in some way, and not only because of the increased heat stress.

@@kordaxmint533 Yes it's fine. It did get heat soaked on the dyno with repeated runs to fine tune the map, but on the road with better airflow it's just fine.

@@EscapePlan97 Well, you soon get used to it. If I could afford suspension, bushes, and front arms upgrades, I think it would feel slow again, the fact mines standard apart from engine tuning means it has more than enough power for the chassis to handle. Which, to me, makes it fun.

@@DjNikGnashers get a lsd fitted, that alone is worth its weight in gold with how it changes the handeling of a car. you clearly did some research so you know about the crappy suspension, bushes and the m4 front arms but in my opinion the lsd is the best first handeling mod to get.

@AutoTopNL you have to install a stage stronger and bigger gearbox if you want to have more power, which is the 8HP70, not install a diesel one.
700HP I think we won't see that anymore comming out of the 2L F40😒

There is no video about the F40 since no one care about it
The tachometer is stuck because the car probably has a multi map system. MHD maybe. See the check engine light blinking? It’s on the map switch mode. You press and hold the reset button on the steering wheel and use + and - to switch maps on the fly. Then pressed reset again to fix it and return the tach to normal.

To the owner of the car: Well done and congratulations to this future legend! Just one addition: For me it looks like "only" 600hp. Other M140i xDrive drive the same 100-200 km/h time with 102 Ron only. With 700 hp it should be 5 seconds flat. Does maybe Map 1 run with 700hp (Max hit the map switching menu by acident and activated map 2)? Btw: What about an upgrade intercooler at this stage of power (e.g. Wagner Tuning)?

You're right. You need to disable the digital dash speedlimit (via bimmercode) then it goes over 300. Theres a stage2 that ran 330kmh tacho on youtube you can find it back
Makes me miss my m140i. Guess i have to get one again. :D Maybe this time XDrive. But i don't see the playful charakter you mentioned. On a M340i it seems so playful. Can it step out the rear with XDrive on the FXX platform?

I wonder about stock air box filter.Turbo Inlet elbow obvious is from pure 850 turbo but why he keeps that stock filter box.Doesnt that bottleneck turbo breath....Bigger turbo bigger wheel and stock air box...I suppose there is K&N filter but...

They are meant to hold more torque, u know the diesel engines has always more torque than the gasoline engines

It's not really far away from the performance of the Ferrari 488 which I drove at Monza 🤔. Just a little bit slower I think at 100-200 with the Ferrari it was 5.3 and this BMW 6.5 seconds
So sad that we don't get this car in America. Can't think of a more ideal car - a small practical 5 door hatchback that can either be rwd or awd, manual or dct. Closest thing is a GR corolla and those get marked up to the moon. And a 2 or 3 series just isn't the same :(

How did the Xdrive get fitted with an OS Giken LSD? Can the owner please chime in? LSD options are almost nil on the xdrive platform and is usually a custom job. I'd like to know where and how :D
