Started using this recipe about a year ago. My family now begs me for it! It’ll definitely be on the table for thanksgiving tomorrow. Y’all: Watch the video so you’ll know the steps she took. This isn’t a throw it all in the bowl recipe. Get the cake flour. Take your time when mixing. If you follow her step by step, your mix will have the literal consistency of silk.

Carmella Washington Your comments took me to an emotional state. I was truly touched because I could deeply relate. When a door is closed God opens a window. There are so many Parents that have exited including mine. So for now if I can fulfill the purpose I do it gladly. Happy Holidays and God Bless you always.

Hello Ms. Cook.. I made this today. I gotta tell you, I been dying to make this for over 20 years, but never came across a recipe till last week... God has really blessed your hands for all you cook. I made it, and couldn't believe how moist and tasty. I just knew it was going to come out good... The only sad part for what ever reason it over lapped in my oven, in my bunt pan but it was ok... Then it would not budge on coming out. I sprayed it reAl good but no luck... No worries... I sliced it up n oh my... It took our family down memory lane down south😁.. Mrs. Cook... I'm here for life... God bless you and on to the next recipe... 😘🤗
