@@EricsHobbyWorkshop Hi Eric, I just discovered your channel and are bing watching :D stopped at Wolfgang because I rememberred Black Magic Crafts's video featuring the german or something guy who teaches terrain building and makes a big fuss about his foam. I think Jeremy gets his foam cutting templates from that guy and he may just be your misterious builder...or a student of his. Might be wrong but I tought I'd put my 2 cents in. Best of luck man, love your content...also Jeremy's :D

Maron is an absolute legend, he's very active in our Mordheim group and is very happy to explain in detail how he makes these amazing terrain pieces.

Honorable mention from a peasant level crafter: go check out Bard’s Craft. He does amazing low cost terrain builds. Really inspiring.

Oh yeah, MSTerrainLab does some absolutely amazing work. I'd love to shrink down and take a walk through that world he has created.

That would be cool! Im sure the technology must exist to do a 3d scan and have a 3d walkthrough. Id take a stroll through your sewer tiles too if it were possible

I think paintsquig is the sculptor behind tabletop worlds amazing resin buildings. The inn he made recently out of xps foam is really amazing too. He could have easily made this list

Your humility is only outshined by your utter enthusiasm for these people and their work. The "studio" improvements relay the latter like none before. Three thumbs up

This was an amazing eye opener. I'm not into the gaming aspect but I absolutely love the art. So thank you for sharing this list of artists that inspire you.

Hey Eric! Thanks for putting together this video. Great list. I want to make a request if I could. During the msterrainlabs portion you stated this particular artist has a really good understanding of what makes a build playable. Could you expand on that sometime? I’m in this hobby for the artistry and have very little idea of the games behind it. I think your tutorial on that subject would be really helpful. I look forward to your videos. Stay awesome!

Recently begun building terrain and watching tutorials and I made a nice looking piece that never makes it on the board as it's too fiddly for Necromunda or kill team. Just too many things that cause a mini to tip over, not sit right, just barely not be able to fit in a corridor. So "how to make neat terrain that is playable in your game of choice" would be an awesome video.

i'm not even into building but i'd really like to hear how to create a mindmap of a fighting zone. usually when i write i imagine all my maps in a 3D landscape.

Could be Wolfgang Jädtke/Jaedtke. There's pictures of Mordheim stuff and Bruchtal (Rivendell). He turns up when you look for his name in combination with the "Tactica" convention in Hamburg or Brückenkopf-online. But the posts are all a couple of years old and I can't find any recent online presence. Good luck with the hunt :)

Camera and audio quality getting really good lately Eric, and your editing is coming along too! Great recommendations for follows, some really inspiring work. One of my favorite non-KZread terrain builders is a one I found on Pinterest, a highly underrated source of great terrain ideas in my opinion, called Shibboleth, with the Sumptown Chronicles, which is a set of terrain tiles for Necromunda that has excellent atomosphere but also with achievable techniques.

For finding out out about Wolfgang, you might try the Lead Adventure Forums or The Miniatures Page, a lot of older terrain makers there who might be able to answer for you

Video is cool and interesting as always. Artists in the list are all super-worthy of mention, but personally I think the name of Rob Hawkins have to be added, as font of inspiration for as detailed as huge terrain works and tutorials helps how to come close to them. :)

You and Jeremy, have really inspired me with terrain creation. I’m new to the hobby and I love it. I’m nowhere near your talents calibre, and I do it with CAD and currently learning 3D sculpting. I have physical disability. Doing this digitally for 3D printing has opened up a new world. I want to thank you and a few others that brought this to my attention.

@@BrutalisDKGaming Haha! yes that too and those pauses that would last a couple of seconds while he gathered his thoughts. His videos are still on KZread but he hasn't uploaded anything for about 6 years, think he might have had a couple of kids around then so maybe no time to now. Hope he starts uploading again sometime, there was something really calming and soothing about his videos.

The Ark Board is definetly the greatest Terrain Inspiration I ever got. The whole collaborative Inq28 Story behind it was also absolutely amazing. I consumed every piece of Lore, Battlerepord and Conversion Blog I could find. Massively satisfying

I'm sure someone else has mentioned it, but I doub't thats glue gun strings, its probably uhu glue, which does that effect with a fair amount of control and they last pretty well... Theres a great trick with uhu and red ink for blood... Great list though, very inspiring...
