there's a mod out there called RaindropLobotomy that adds a survivor called "the sweeper" which does that essentially, its a cool mod imo

One correction for the Goku mod: staying in a transformation for too long will only force you back to base form (when you run out of chi). The only thing that stuns you is using kaioken, which boosts your speed and damage for a short period of time. The higher level of kaioken you use, the longer you will be stunned after it wears off. The duration of the stun also scales with the transformation you're currently in.

For anyone reading this, I did learn that you can use ki charge offset the ki drain of kaioken. Just know that the longer you use kaioken, the higher the drain is.

@@Robinator1103 (EDIT: The information below turned out to be false) No, there isn't. I usually only use it right before the teleporter event. Interesting thing is, it seems to drain less when you're in Super Saiyan Blue, which line up with the actual lore. So I actually go whole stages using kaioken with SSB.

@@femimark5021 yes I get it but a few years back (5-6 give or take 1), where I'm from everyone and their mother knows what LoL is even if they don't play it they at least heard of it.

The puppeteer seems really interesting

Having played most if not all the modded survivors, the Templar is well done and rather fun to play with his alternating attacks, probably my fav, so I'd recommend trying him out(disable the Clay Dunestrider though).

Twitch looks great, like he was in it from the start

With twitch, you didn't mention that with his R ability, while you can no longer stack the poison, that target has the stacks forever. This is hilarious because you get enough attack speed for like 30 stacks, hit Mithrix with it and he moves pretty much in slow motion, including attacks.

Fun fact you probably didn't know about enforcer, he can reflect enemy projectiles with his shield bash and it even works with golem lasers

The fact you need a mod to bring back Enforcer just dont hit right with me.

Bandit is stronger than you let on. Abusing the smoke bomb and lights out skills is very fun and where most of his power comes from. Popping in and out of invisibility in order to one shot weaker foes while using primary fire bolstered by thermite bombs to deal with more tanky opponents. Quite the fun character indeed.

too true. I prefer his alternate primary and specials though, where it's a shotgun primary and a full revolver rapid fire for special.

Puppeteer to me is something I kinda want...not the survivor itself, A.I Teammates. Each stage they would randomly get items = to yours (And I mean once you tp, they'd spawn with them). So if you had 4 whites and 3 greens from stage one, they would also have it. I get how inbalanced that ends up being, four survivors stage 2 with 28 totaled items, but it's meant to be a fun thing

In regards to Goku and Vegeta (the other mod, main difference is vegeta is overall better balanced but has no kaioken, but you can get a perma majin buff), there's a few things you got wrong, only the kaioken stuns you if it goes on too long, also charging using the alt-utility skill (way better than the basic one imo) will decrease the strain (it's indicated by the blue ki bar) allowing you to be in Kaioken longer. Also you can fly fast by holding shift after you are already floating, it's so god damn awesome for moving around the map though it uses ki. Also the biggest thing I think you missed is that the longer you are in each transformation the more you master it (the number that was in the left corner of the transformation box), which when you reach certain levels like the mastered and perfect versions of each form greatly reduce the ki consumption and increase base ki regen. So you're greatly incentivised to try out all the forms for a bit. You can even change which forms you have access to in the character select. Overall that mod has to be one of my all-time favorite ones, it's so in-depth (pretty OP, but you can always get wrecked by bad choices.

I think if you click instead of holding, the bandit will shoot faster albeit less accurately

The goku mod has extra transformations on the left side on character select screen, same with vegeta and trunks

Would recommend all of them. The enforcer's janky leg animation when you're running might throw some people off, but if you can look past that, you'll get an awesome survivor with a unique playstyle

Nah, it's shit in the long road. Your summons don't get your items, so they don't do any damage and are useless later.

I don't know why this video is called 7 of the BEST survivor mods. When I go on thunderstorm (is that the name of the mod page for ror2?) I find 7 or 8 survivor mods tops lol, are there even more

Yes. A lot of survivor based mods exist for Risk of Rain. I've seen around 20 survivors, a lot are really fun, others aren't.

@@SebiBubble Thunderstore is the only site I know. Most the knowledge I came to know from were looking up survivor mods on google / youtube, and just browsing on Thunderstore's app called r2modman, you can find them. I do wish there was a way to sort mods though. By like survivor, items, gameplay etc. A few good ones I know of are included here, plus some more league characters like Akali, Aatrox, and Riven. A unique survivor called the Rogue Wisp, and even some enemies like Clay templar and Imps are playable. It's honestly a matter of finding them.

@@SebiBubble After putting my second comment, I went ahead and made a mod page (It's a personal one, I'm not uploading it) where it only included new characters and I managed to find exactly 20 characters (Good and Bad) which does also include most of these one, which is 13 other survivors.
