I love audio to midi as it is but thinking of buying or paying for a audio plugin that terms the sounds you make with your mouth by humming or beatbox into actual music. You can for example hum a tune and it will tern it into violin and capture the velocity and it's also live real time.

One that is being slept on is Rapid Composer 4. It is Scaler on Steroids. It does Scaler and Melody sauce and then 1000 other things. It can do drums but that's kind of meh because it was mainly built to create orchestration. It can auto generate 15 tracks at a time if you wish. It can get a bit complicated but once the layout clicks, it's a breeze t o use. I have a hard time figuring how to keep using Scaler since I've been using RapidComposer.

I think A.I. has its place in creating music, but there is still nothing like learning music theory. Nothing makes me more aggravated than going to band practice and one of my band mates brings some "new hotness" and they've brought a beat or loop to the session and when they are asked what key it's in or play the base chord on that piano over there and they have this look on them like "what's a chord" then you follow up with "what's the time signature" and yeah you see where I'm going lmao.....A.I. used as a tool is awesome but it's 1 tool nothing more.....peace and love

Yeah, I'm on board with AI. It definitely speeds up the writing process and takes care of writer's block. I've started using it for song ideas along with sample loops and Scaler 2. From there, I play everything using higher quality sound choices unless I really like what was going on with a part in the song. I might add song sections, change progressions a bit, change melodies, whatever to make it more "me". Is AI going to replace us musicians? My conclusions at the moment is definitely not. I'll probably lose low budget customers, but the higher paying clients still want quality that AI isn't giving. So I can use AI for the ideas and flesh things out specifically for the clients - which may also be music libraries as I doubt they're going anywhere. And with things like Synthesizer V Studio Pro, as their vocal A! continues to improve, I'll be able to use their vocalists for music where clients want vocals. For some purposes, it's already very good. Down the road, AI will probably be able to score a full length film with high quality sample libraries, get director approval, print out the score and a live musicians will handle playing any real instruments involved. But that's not going to be tomorrow and I'm already 61 years old.... I'm not concerned about that at this point.

I am realizing the more I use the AI apps, I am frustrated and taking time to learn the keyboard so I can just input what I want more directly. I feel the biggest benefit of the AI apps, it is so freaking fast to get something you can bang your head to. I am taking the opportunity to learn what works and put my knowledge together so I can just freaking play. I am pretty good at Guitar improvising over lots of styles of music so I am hoping it doesn't take me too long to catch up on the keys. I got almost all the VST and DAWs. Been like my private production school. I got a few keyboards that all seem very good. Mkp pro 61 keys. S49 komplete. IMAGE LINE, Cubase 12, Ableton live 11, Reaper, latest Magik, Acid 11, bigwig and maybe that's it. Lol. The brokest producer.......

But I think in the start - up of where loopmix is right now just give u mute options to a multi track loops. Which alright I think. Because if u r aware of what loopmix does u can make better music without loopmix for just this reason.... To combine effect to the mute. Sounds like effectrix by sugarbytes. I just never saw how to effectively use such app in my production. If u do decide to do so I would watch.

A.I. is ideally for beatmakers. A.I. will certainly not replace real musicians anytime soon. Real musicians have a very organic flow whereas beat makers generally borrow sounds and create patterns. So the brain of a beat maker and A.I. potentially work in sync with one another. Honestly though, I think A.I. is another form of gentrification. It looks good now but what will it become in the future? Will it replace producers altogether? Will software eventually sing too like text-to-voice? Anyway, I am definitely turned on to Scaler 2 now. Thanks Ave.

AI App's to make u a "better musician" is like calling someone a "Jumbo Shrimp"... the only way to BECOME a better musician is from practice and studying. AI, while I do use it as well, is simply a crutch that people will lean on becoming less artistic. U gotta at least know how to use a basic oven right? but nope! all people wanna do is microwave. lol

It's cheating. It's the program making the music for you..... Melody Sauce in the cart, and I already have Scaler...oh. It's not for me. It's for my um....friend. I don't use this stuff.

So when you’re done with this BS creative process, whose name do you put down as the author of this AI piece? Not yours! And there’s nothing you’re doing that sounds particular good or different than a typical progression and canned beat ie did you need this?

@@AveMcree good point. I also see good attitude in general in the music community on youtube. One of the good side effects of getting an MPC was to discover a lot of social media with good vibes.
