I am so glad that you started off with hip hop because I feel that a lot of new tech overlooks to Hip Hop genre when it comes to showing us how it could be used with that genre.

Lord Magnus Hip-Hop beats are usually pretty minimalistic and super repetitive. Usually not the best genre for demonstrations. I don’t think it’s anything but a technicality.

Check out trip hop. Its basically the same. Some are really nice too. My favorite is an album called Manifest by Padma Purana. "See the light, for the night is dark, and full of terror"

Pardon being late to the party. I especially loved the cinematic sketch, since that's more where I live. The Una Corda is one of my favorite sounds for non-traditional tracks, but where I need a sound that functions kind of like a piano, but not so distinctive that you go, "oh there's a piano". It is a sample of an actual instrument, having a hammer action like a piano, but (and here's where it gets its name) with only one string (una corda) for each note. Piano's have multiple strings on each note, giving it that punchy, rich-with-overtones sound. Next time you want an arpeggio in a beat, try the una corda. Crank the velocity and put a sweeping LP filter on it!

Hi Zach, thanks for the Video.. I use Bitwig as my Daw, but you have a nice little setup using Live. I wish you talked about how you have that all set up in live. I know this is about komplete 12, so a dedicated video of the set up between the komplete kontrol and komplete 12 and live. Specially how you switch between Daw control and back to plugin control, that was rather sweet! I use maschine and komplete kontrol + Komplete 11 and Bitwig is my main Daw. But I generally stay in Maschine because of the involved workflow to use maschine with kontrol smoothly inside Bitwig. Thanks!

Man, I was like, hip hop? nailed it... techno, ok, yep, nailed it, sounds like a vinyl techno record, was surprised how quickly he got there... then wow, was going to leave for the organic electronica, but, wow, NAILed it! With or without a vocal, that’s a great arrangement. (Orchestral was as-expected.)

Great demo. I'm thinking of buying, wondering how well the software will run on an i3 processor standalone or as a VST in Ableton? Min specs say i5 or better but I'm hoping it will work with no latency issues.

also how do we search in complete Kontrol and monk for instance from a specific library name or sound name? can't find where we look for sounds from the name...

This is very interesting and I love the music you are making. My MK2 88 arrives tomorrow and Komplete 12 is coming asa soon as Sweetwater gets it. I am curious however, this genre is foreign to me, what real-world applications are possible with what you are doing? Where will you play this? Who will hear this? Thank you!
