You are living a dream. What a beautiful view and home. Always wanted a house like my buddy's. Old firestation with a loft in the garage with buggys, diesel trucks, atvs and had a loft in the garage. Had a redneck Tokyo drift vibe. I need to do this myself. I've got a license in doors and windows and been making solo 1800-2600 a week. Can't get that view in Florida and properties are expensive here!

Great build! I wish that I'd have done something like this when I was younger but life got in the way. I didn't buy my first house until I was 28 years old, now I'm 60 and we just bought another home with a 30 year mortgage! I also own a house in the southern Colorado mountains as well as one that I inherited in Texas from my grandparents. This type of build might be something that I would like to build on my property in TX because my grandparents house is under 1000 sq. ft. and I don't want to tear it down but it's too small for us to live in.

I loved the floor plan. You've done some very interesting things in this house. My husband and I might move some of the lines as we don't need a garage that big. I really like the separation between the guest and master living areas. All in all, I really like what you have done here!

Welp you built the house ive been dreaming about for the last 6 years nice work man

In your master closet, instead of having a custom dresser built, you can just cut some shelves to fit the space, and put them on roll-out drawer slides. You can stack folding clothes right on them, pull them out to see everything, then for smaller items you can just put some baskets on one of the shelves. Super easy, inexpensive, and good for space.

For you erosion problem on the hill, if you can get grass to grow on it that will help, I’d toss down a ton of grass seed then you could cover it in straw to hold in moisture to help the grass grow, but have to find a time it’s not raining a lot or you’ll just wash all the seed away
