Nothing beat listening your scary stories alone at night with the lights out and everyone asleep. It put you in a form of hypnosis, you are in the stories. Greatest entertainment.

For the gals sucking water off the side of the highway, using a piece of cloth (like your soaking wet clothes) to soak up water from different sources would've provided plenty of water. Clothing would've also provided a filter to clean collected water. For anyone with an older car, make an Emergency Water Kit of a funnel, gallon jug of water, cheese cloth (filtration), wool or felt cloth (soaking), unlubricated condoms (they hold a great deal of water without breaking😁) and an empty container to hold everything and collect rainwater. You'll never have to suck water from rumble strips on the side of the highway.

You had to move out of the way of traffic so often but didn't have the idea to ask people for water... no cell phone but you called your boyfriend

I would never let the same friend pick the vacation spot again! No way I would go on vacation without a phone either! It's a shame I can remember days before cell phones, and we survived just fine! But this is perfect example why one is needed. The men left the women all day, after a night like that? They would be ex friends after that trip!

So, I'm gonna be that person and say this to people visiting or wanting to visit Mexico: Regardless of spirit related things, don't ever take things from the ruins please, I think that's so disrespectful. :( I'm saying this as a person from Mexico, please respect the places you visit, follow the rules and enjoy the views. This is our culture, and those places are really important, they're literally historical, and for someone to take a piece from them like it's just some kind of souvenir to show friends? That's awful.

Thank you for explaining why it shouldn't be done, some people actually don't get it. People will find Native burial grounds in the dense forests of northern Maine (where I live), they will go so far as to dig up bones to take as souvenirs. I don't know if there are any spiritual punishments for doing such things, but the disrespect is beyond awful. It gives a deeper meaning to "Take only memories, leave only footprints.."

I hope karma catches up to them, or you know, a spirit, but overall I hope people stop taking anything from historical places and burial grounds, that's so awful. 😟 Those bones were once someone alive, and people be treating them like it's a pretty key charm you buy at a gift store. I just can't believe it dude, some people... :/

I have been to Cancun and went to Isla Mujeres and that was the single hottest place I have ever been in my life... I remember going into even really nice businesses with only board shorts and flip flops bc it is far too hot to wear shirts literally anywhere there. The place was amazing though and I highly recommended it as a day trip if you are ever in Cancun. We rented these legit “James Bond” type 2 person mini speedboats and raced them through the mangrove mazes for hours. Fucking amazing good time!

There’s another one about a family having to spend a whole day at an airport cause of layovers, literally nothing scary or weird about it at all 😂

What a story to wake up to! Those 3 girls with the van that had an overheated engine! That was such a visual and can be beleieved as Truth! I was laughing so much, I scared my dogs! They kept backing away from me at the foot of the Bed. They're more used to me waking slowly moaning in pain with my spine being broken. I kept wanting the story to stop , yet I wanted it to go on! You were killing my abdomen with the laghter! Not too often do I get to wake up to such a Great Story! Thanks Ladies, Thanks Mort! It's gonna be a Great day!
