Mort! This is one of the twins from the story about the sleepy town of Bowvalley. This was so important to share to my sister and you did such a good job reading the story! You didn't change anything and did it such justice. It felt so good to have this story out , it made me cry. Maybe with relief? I dont know. I know this channel is for fun and scares, but i think you help with healing too. ❤

You never expose money to a stranger and you never deal with a stranger alone that's the fastest way to get robbed or killed were not in the days where people could just make a handshake and everything be okay the odds of you getting hurt or almost 90%

Mort, I think it would be so awesome if you would take a look at the old 'Ghost to Ghost' radio show and find a way to transcribe and read those old stories. Idk if that's even possible, but if it were, imagine all of the stories that most of us haven't heard. I love your work and have been listening for years.

I live in the city that is in story 1. The dinner that was in the story burned down when an out of control fire swept through the "Cajon Pass". That is the name of the "incline" which is referenced.

I was thinking the same thing. A lot of stuff that just doesn't make sense to be in the story + just a weird way of telling the story made it sound very strange. I tried using AI to write a story once and it had similar weirdness to it, so I'm like 95% sure that this story is AI generated

It's actually a fun story, and I can't decide what to think of it. It's strange that it starts off describing clothes and shoes! Then I don't think a transmission fluid leak, should be such a big deal lol. I think normally a person would just buy more fluid at the next gas station...? Plus odd phrases like how Hoss "chortled" and "brushed it off" etc. Idk but it is a fun story anyway

Do ppl actually enjoy the "unattractive guy said good morning and made me uncomfortable" stories?

Good thinking about not driving to your home if you're being followed. Always drive to a police station if possible or go to a public place where there are people.

Hmm well I think the narrator felt like he had a new, lovely friendship blossoming with Hoss, so anyone would have told Hoss about the money in your pocket! Hoss was almost a best-friend at that point lol

Weird how this is the second time I’m hearing the name Haas in my life and he’s also a super unstable weirdo. My haas ended up being a pedo tho. Long story short I’m a grown woman but I’m petite and I’m Filipina so I look 13 and..yeaa.. took me a few days to connect the dots. He was dropping hints about what he liked and kind danced around it without directly admitting it. But it became clear quickly.
