Some of these are really terrifying because they're so relatable. When I was 19 I worked at Luby's. They had on four full days and two halves. I remember one of my "work moms" (I had two) and I had been working drive through that evening and we were cleaning up. All of a sudden we saw this guy skulking around outside. Well, we were closing up. Martha did NOT want me walking over to my truck so late at night (about 10:30) so insisted on driving me across the parking lot to it and waiting for me to get my truck started. Only then did I do a quick look around and noticed this guy standing at the side of the building, caddy corner from my truck, watching us intently. Martha actually got me my second job and she and I have remained good friends despite the 30+ year age difference. 😂 Super grateful for her!

Hey Morty, a long time fan of yours here. So, English is my third language and sometimes when I lose focus in listening, I don't realize that the story had changed because there is no clear separation between stories. I mean, there are some ways to make a clear separation, like having longer pause, numbered stories, or a subtle sound effect. I don't know if I'm the only one with problem here, but it's great if you consider any of my suggestions.

Maybe you should start limiting the amount of naps Pandora takes during the day, so that by early evening, she can settle down with little fuss or try a physical activity with her during the early afternoon to wear her out?

Mortis you are the best. The stories and your voice us the best story telling kind. I need to tell you a excerpt to the child passing away after the faucet left running. I'm a nurse at a small Catholic hospital even after years of the nuns running the hospital many paranormal experiences would occur. One nun would show up sitting in the visitors lounge when someone was soon to pass on. I believe she would show them the way. Many people's family would ask about the older nun that sat with them. We would tell them that we had no nun working there but they insisted she was with them at the worst time of their lives. There were two more nun that was also around the hospital. Always to help never to frighten or scare. Thank you Mortis you are great honey. Love everything about your channel.

I totally feel for the guy in the first story. Why do people think it’s ok to touch people they don’t know!? Guy, girl. gay, straight, it doesn’t matter. No touchy!

DEFINITELY better to look foolish for overreacting about someone following you than to be right and maybe never have the chance to look back at it ever because you're in a hole somewhere. The thing about Vans, or any vehicles really, you never truly know how many people are actually inside. What seems like a lone driver may be up to 5 people total against you alone on a desolate road at 3am

You can not bartend without experience. It's not like working at McDonald's. Great story though!

So many of these stories are typically American teenagers but your narrator is obviously British. He’s excellent. Could pass fir Mr Darcy telling me a story. I’d love to hear British horror and not the stories of American kids, campfires and wendigos which get samey. But This first story sounds good.

So many of these stories just boil down to "perpetually paranoid female sees scary man". Lazy writing.
