I have relatives on both the far left and the far right (well, I think I have; not everyone agrees on what equals "far") and to be honest, I feel like caricatures of the far right and the far left are my least favorites because neither is really that accurate. I mean, they're accurate to what the FL and FR are like when you interact with them on the internet. But, in my experience, they're both quiet and friendly when you interact with them in person at family reunions and the like, not super self-righteous or argumentative or anything. I'm more amused by caricatures that are based on actual observation of people.

1:11 this is what I think every year. It’s so ironic. Over half my block including my wife are combat veterans who all struggle with fireworks. Other than that, funny as hell as usual!

I live in a Military town and nearly everyone does fireworks all week, especially on Base they really go all out. I find it so ironic

Going on a military post to eat off the food trucks and seriously see them blow up hundred of thousands of dollars worth of professional fireworks. They really know how to have a good time. If anyone knows where to get a good cherry bomb, it’s the military from off of the reservation. Oorah! 🇺🇸

My father was a Vietnam veteran. He had horrible PTSD from doing 2 tours as a combat medic. On the Fourth of July, he would stay home with the family Dog and blast Led Zeppelin as loud as possible to drown out the fireworks. He was the best dad ever. Passed away from cancer when I was a little girl. 😢 @Treykennedy You crossed a line with this one. Unsubscribing.

I had a veteran neighbor who had really terrible PTSD with the fireworks. His entire body shook uncontrollably as he would try to smoke on the porch to calm the nerves.

I saw it a couple of times. It broke my heart and caused me to advocate against fireworks.

My whole family are pyros... I learned as a child to run inside when dad has a firework in hand because its getting thrown in the firepit in front of you without you knowing. 😂

I don't know if it will help your pup, but I've found that a couple of drops of Lavender essential oil on the palms of your hands, rubbed together, and then rubbed on their ears, under their head, and then onto their chest, has helped our anxious girl. 😊
