I got a Shiba girl a couple of months ago and after she got her last series of puppy shots and wasn’t feeling well yesterday, that was the first time she reached out to me for comfort… up until then she’s been very independent and a bit stand-offish. Now she’s starting to come to me for pats and snuggles.

My fox-wolf has just started refusing to take certain routes on walks, now that he's hit 3 years old. The other day he stopped in the street so I told him to lead the way and he dragged me back home! I guess he wasn't in the mood for a walk 😂

my shiba is excessively friendly . she will go for a walk with anyone . at times we wonder if she really is loyal to one or two people . i think not . she is an opportunist and goes with whoever will play with her and feed her

Ahh I am glad I finally came back to watch this channel I am still planing to get a shiva myself and ur facts are helping me learn more! Ty but pi know this is weird but everytime I see one I pause and just stand there and stare at them thinking omg omg I want to pet that shiva so bad lol btw tell jimmy he’s cute for me! Our Shiba is 11. Our Maggie is extra. We love her. We adopted her when she was 10 months. She isn't food motivated. Stubborn good word we use ass or bitch lol😂.

My dog is only half Shiba, but he acts like full one.

Hi! Jimmy is the first dog that I am fully responsible for. My parents had a Shiba Inu when I was younger so I was acquainted with this breed.

I have a six-month Shiba. Right now in the summer, the dog is shedding hairs like crazy. Is something wrong?

No they blow their coats twice a year. Brush him often while it’s happening and it will help. I have a 19mos old and I had one that lived to be 18yrs I know the breed very well.
