I watched this so you don't have to 1) Don't panic during the silence 2) Introduce a new conversation topic 3) Comment on the silence eg. if you ask someone a question they don't want to answer, just say it's fine, nevermind etc. instead of nothing 4) Avoid flat responses eg. yes/no 5) Take the opportunity to exit

if there is silence on a specific important topic and you are finding the right words to continue it, please try to break the topic in multiple parts and pick the other part to speak. you will be able to remember the rights words you forgot.

I have listened to many videos on how to be not quiet and talk with out awkward silence but no changes in me. My brain working in that awkward way only

Worst thing is, when there's a totally acceptable silence for example when walking, my classmate always takes the lazy way and says "Hey, can you come up with some topic to talk about?" it's giving me a vibe that she's like "I dont want to take the effort to come up with a topic myself, so I'm just going to throw the awkwardness at you haha". Why does she do this?
