So cool, working with demonstrators to learn their pros and cons on tools like this one have made this one phenomenal

Leave it to SU to come up with “added extras” to the Misti style to make stamping easier & better. When I first saw the ad for it I thought you were a “Johnny come lately” but after watching the video and seeing the improvements it makes me see the possibilities. The 2 covers and also removable are great ideas. The bar magnets are a great addition as well. Great job SU!!!

I am in love!!! I have been waiting to buy a stamp positioner. The first issue was cost and with the recent release of another stamping device satisfied me for a number of reasons. I had one in the shopping cart and didn't get it because of the $13+ shipping. I AM DOING CARTWHEELS NOW!!! I LOVE YOU STAMPIN UP! YOU KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK! I AM ORDERING ONE ASAP!!

Wow! What a great video of Stampinup's new product! This Stamparatus was so well designed it's (I think) even more user friendly than the Misti tool.

I have an original MISTI, a Tim Holtz Stamp Platform, a We Are Memory Keepers Stamp Press and a Fiskars stamp press....and this one that SU has designed is BY FAR the best I have seen. The versatility that we'll experience with this platform is amazing!!! So excited!! ☺

Love this the multi stamp surfaces makes it more versatile than the misti! And having the long narrow magnets included rather than buy after the fact is another awesome idea. Good video idea would be to show how easy masking is with the tool.

Love it! Not sold on Tim Holz brand as it was too big- this size is perfect!

I have the MISTI and Sizzix Tim Holtz platforms. I like the idea of the two lids! I think the 'hinge-step technique- just sold me on the Stamparatus! I wrap a wide strip of washi tape around my bar magnets and form a washi tab on the lid for easy lifting. Works great. I've also cut a piece of a clear plastic grid as another handy tool. Great video.

Well Tim holtz have 2 lids and they are the first one to come out with the 2 lids stampin toll ..

Tim's platform has one removable lid. Use one side for cling stamps. and the other side for unmounted stamps. Both of these platforms have a larger footprint than the MISTI, unless you're using the scrapbooking MISTI.

I like the hinge step technique for sure. I love that it has two plates and two bar magnets. But I don't like that the plates have to be taken off for storage. Does it come with a bag to store it all in then? It should!

It does but it's close to $25! I don't feel the bag should cost half the price of the tool!

Kerry, I miss you and the other original SU video peeps. I could identify with all of you. The new videos are unfamiliar people that make me feel like I am watching a commercial.

Might be completely random, love that you do numbers (1-5) the ASL way!

can we purchase extra magnets or replace hinged pieces if brake? when stamping we could use spacers so can replace paper if it moves like in video. she put it back under magnet but did not move paper so no problem but I have had paper move when placed in center of tool and nothing to square it back in place. Easy fix.

Are you able to close both plate on top of each other, when not in use? LOVE THIS!

no. One should only close one down, remove the 2nd from hinges and place lose on top as per video

I think the two plates is quite creative and will be useful in a lot of instances! However, I don't think I'd like having to take them on and off after each time I do some stamping to keep them from warping or snapping (or damaging the hinge). As far as the hinge system, I think it's just as easy to move the paper up and down (or would be if the rulers were visible). I'm anxious to see the price. I always thought the Misti was horribly overpriced, but I have enjoyed using it these last few years. As far as the registration system goes (which I saw described in another video), it seems they're trying to get the word out before Christmas hoping people won't ask for other brands for Christmas.

Ver Blu its 49.99 and the first set of them are shipping in February but apparently you have to preorder to get it :/

Looks like a great tool. However, I'm a bit disappointed with the first portion of the demo. One should ALWAYS butt the paper into the corner of a positioner unless your stamp must go past each edge. The magnets can fail to hold against a very sticky stamp or ink and using gridlines to replace your paper is never as accurate as using the corner. Also, I would like to have the foam insert for photopolymer stamps covered in a grid-printed plastic so it would be easy to clean and help align stamps if your stamp needs to go past the edge, eliminating the need for scrap paper. Perhaps that will be offered in the future.

My first thought was that the foam should have been printed with a slick grid sticker or something. 99% of my stamping is with photopolymer so it bothers me that the grid and ruler would be blocked 99% of the time...

I was wondering how long it was going to be before SU released a stamping platform. Love the name. Unfortunately I already have three different types, so I probably don't need this, but yay for SU anyway. :)
