I am sorry to say I like my old Stampin Up watercolor pencils so much better than the new ones. The old ones went down like artist grade pencils, nice and smooth even on watercolor paper too. It seems the old pencils were more heavily pigmented and the colors seemed much more vibrant. There is a definate difference between the old and new pencils. Also my old set came in a set of 24 colors in a tin. I wish Stampin Up wouldn't have changed the watercolor pencils. The change hasn't been for the better. I understand the color changes, not the quality change. Thanks for sharing this with us. Blessings. Kathy B.

It look like the paper after you did water calling was kind of worked I was wondering how you flatten that out so it looks nice on your card? Thank you for your help beautiful card

When staming the outline image, I find that the Archival Black ink bleeds into the coloring when I use my blender pen? Would Memento work better as I though the blender pen had some alcohol in it? thank you

Do you have to use watercolor paper? What else can you use?

How are these pencils different from the previous ones - except colors?

prefer inktense which turn into permanent ink when dry

Candace Kieper It can still be ruined by water. You have no idea what you're talking about. For one thing there is no comparison between Watercolor pencils and Inktense. Watercolor pencils are pigment that is intensified by adding water. Inktense is water soluble ink. Ink and pigment are two different things so you really can't compare them. While watercolor is more malleable with the addition of more water so is Inktense. The Inktense requires a bit more work to move the ink around or remove some of it. You should know what you're talking about before making blanket statements that are incorrect. Please do some research, educate yourself. While personal preference can help guide your opinion it should not be based solely on that.
