For severely dirty cars a second foam step can be a big help, too.

I learned a lot from the video with Sreten and all just started to click. I am studying these and am about to apply them straight away, step by step. A couple of contemplation (overthinking) of a learning noob: 1) When you take off the wheels, how does it affect their proper alignment? 2) I had a bad experience with the door shuts rinse - the moist stuck inside and it was hard to let the interior dry for couple of days How do you work out with a wet interior then?

Hi Jan, 1) Removing wheels off the car doesn’t influence the alignment of your car nor the balancing of your wheel/tyre. 2) Always work with low water pressure and alongside the body panel to minimize splashing. Open the door at maximum angle to avoid unnecessary wish-plash. Ensure proper drying with microfiber and help of compressed air.

Absolutely love Bug & Grime remover, if the car isn’t too dirty I usually spray it on then give it a “spritz” with the hose as well after it’s had a minute or two, works really well as a pre-rinse step. Noticed in this video you didn’t rinse off the Bug & Grime remover but went straight over it with the foam - is that right? Will have to give that a try.

Yes, this makes sure it doesn’t dry out as your foam gun also gives you water and on top you have some extra dwelling time together with the foam. Worth a try. Regards, Y.

Couple of questions, for wheels would a Attachment used in a cordless drill be too much, the softest of bristles is what I am aiming for, have a bit of a dexterity issue, they are stock wheels nothing glossy. Also wouldn't a pressure washer rinse be too much on the body? I know you have to be careful with the edges of the PPF, but wouldn't the product remaining foam up too much in the seams/shut lines etc? Or with this being a prewash it's not too critical?

Is the APC suitable to be used with a ceramic coated car? Will it affect the ceramic detailer or Cure top up layer?

Hi guru! I've got 2 questions: 1. For a pre-soak of the bottom panels, what would be better: Bug & Grime or APC (1:5)? 2. If I mix APC 1:5 and have the mixture remaining after the wash, for how long can I keep the mixture for any future use?

  • @GYEON_official

    1. Depends the type of dirt. For tar deposits both will not be effective so use according the type of cleaning you need to do. 2. Long enough, for sure till a next wash. Regards, Y.
