Other than doing no workout prior, wouldn't a leg session be the most ideal before this one, considering there is pretty much zero crossover with legs and delts compared to any other split that will at least slightly fatigue the delts/shoulders/forearms.

@@aaronwwilliams Sure, but the leg sessions Mike and Jared usually put people through are absolutely brutal, so that prospect of making them train anything half an hour later is cruel! I've never seen someone look nauseous from doing lateral raises before, lol

Does this hit the rear delt at all, or only side delt?

Looking at their technique side + front a little. If you want to hit rear delt more you can bend forward a bit and keep arms straight to the side, instead of moving them towards the front. The more you bend forward the more emphasis is place on rear delt and less on front.

side delts are so weak. i train pussy weights but a ton of sets to failure at like 10-15 rep range and then i have them sore for half a week. the pain is so crazy but i love the pain

Here is my problem. I am a beginner (About to hit the 2nd workout tonight) And i can't even lift the 5 kilo weights (The lightest ones in the gym) more than 5 times. What should i do?

keep doing it fives time until you can do it 6 times, repeat until you can do 10 -12 times, then up the weights to the next increment, repeat process until you can do that for 10-12, rinse and repeat until you're massive
