A handy practical one, although it needs a whole hotbar. Set it up vertically next to your party list to line with members, and use it with abilities that are put onto others (i.e. nature's minne, or aetherpact etc) itll handle the cast, then target the enemy again. Replace as needed for 8 seperate macros per skill /micon "aetherpact" /target (# is party member in list) /action "aetherpact" /targetlasttarget

On controller player, using the /levelsync command on a macro makes level syncing for FATEs or NMs in Eureka very helpful.

its a simple one for if you ever do multi-seater mounts with friends in your party, just puts you into the nearest multi-seater mount /tpc /ridepillion

I use the armory sorting macro as well and I combine it with my gear set changing macros. So every time I switch jobs my Armoury gets sorted automatically. I also added a few more lines in an attempt to replicate the "right click > sort" style of sorting. Looks like this: /macroicon 1 gearset /gs change 1 5 /wait 1 /isort condition armoury lv des /isort condition armoury ilv des /isort condition armoury category /isort execute armoury For "/gs change 1 5" the "1" is the gear set number and the "5" is the Glamour Plate number, so it also applies the correct glam automatically.

nice but is there a way to do this in one macro but for every gearset you change to? seems its set to work only for a specific gearset first but I personally have a gearset for every class in the game.

@@raventhorX The macro changes your gear set to the specified number, so you'd need as many Macros as you use gear sets. Personally I use the hotbar menu Plushie shows in this video to have easy access to all my gear set macros, without cluttering up the screen. You could also take only the /isort parts of the macro and then manually press it after changing gear sets. That would leave you with just 1 extra button to press.

You can link your glamour plates to gear sets. Doesn't have to be in the macro but neat.

thanks for the video i liked the armory sort and the bfx short cuts since i'll periodically turn on the battle effects when i'm doing thing slike blue mage groups butr then forget to turn it back off.

I have made an extension of the menu macro, which allows me to select some mounts that have music for longer travels. Basically, mount BGM is activated when I go to the mount menu, and deactivated when I close the menu. Simple, but amazing.

I've been meaning to setup the BGM one for a while now. Here are a couple macros I use currently. The first one is to perfect craft anything level 80 or lower (assuming you are level 90 crafter). Second one lets you knock out any Sightseeing action needed to grab the Sighseeing points. /ac "Trained Eye" /ac "Careful Synthesis" /ac "Careful Synthesis" /ac "Careful Synthesis" /echo Done /macroerror off /lookout /pray /comfort /psych /salute /doze /rally /me /point /sit

oh man I created a macro for automatic weekly turns-in custom deliveries but i haven't done that since stormblood i think since they seem to keep changing spells all the time

@@iamPlushie Well that macro works for all custom deliveries up to Lady L. Her stuff is current level so you need a little more involved macro and stats but still very doable.

I made one for the beast tribe chat/emote missions. I only do Pixies and Arkadasara now but you can add words and emotes to match what your working on. /s Beaver Your god is come snae ling /doubt I might be missing something, I'm not on atm, but something like that. If you need to add an emote just add to the end of the 1st and put the new one below it. All the text can be on the same line after /s, just make sure it's written the right way.

Nice I found /mastervolume after watching this, not sure when that was added but I have wanted to toggle sound since the start. Another one I use is bag sorting by spirit bond levels.

the sort macro especially seems very handy ^_^

I don't understand macros at all yet, but that bar with all classes stored looks amazing and incredible convenient! I'll check on that for sure. New sub, it ain't much but it's honest work.

I use this macro for sorting both my armoury chest and inventory and it saves so much time and hassle! /micon “imperial salute” emote /isort condition armoury ilv /isort execute armoury /isort condition inventory category asc /isort execute inventory /echo Inventory and Armoury Chest sorted!

For Background music you just type /bgm Save yourself the Macro Slot, all of the others are super helpful!

For years I've been using a macro to swap job which uses the sorting so it always sort when I change job, as well as the hotbar one, hotbar is just not efficient if your character still has to go through the classes leveling

I just started knowing how to do macros and learn about em when Shadowbringers was announced back In 2018. Macros are a definite lifesaver if you're either PC or PlayStation

DUDE! Edit out the sheath glow! If people finally figure this out I won't be able to convince them anymore that I got the effect by being the first person to ever log into the game! (Yes I actually tell people this and yes they actually believe me)

i used that hotbar menu macro month ago and, i returned to my own "hud" cuz that macro menu was too much clicking for my own taste click for every little thing, sure the ui look more clean but its too much clicking, i rather have a battle mode on or off macro, which lets me turn off 90% of my entire hotbar at once and on if im in the open world and use em more often than in battle

I did the one that just turned off the 3 hotbars with my jobs. Now I have the one that switches the UI to one that just has those 3 bars so it's like a menu. Might change if I ever need that whatever it's called.

The cross hotbar is the Console equivalent of keyboard hotbars right? You would have to put the macro icon in one of the cross hotbars along anything else you potentially use (teleport/sprint etc) but I never "actually played" with a controller in FF14 ^^'

@@iamPlushie yea thats exactly it, though with controller I'm not sure there's a need. Idl off the top of my head how many hotbars you can use normally but you can easily press either the bumpers or the L1/R1 buttons and then a corresponding face button to access up to a total of 8 crossbars rather easily. Then there are shortcuts to allow you to quickly access up to two other crossbars based on button combos.

Now I can have shiny stick at all times, like during specialist dancing-

Haha I was scared to mention the bgm one being like "maybe people would be offended" but I heard Kugane music SO MUCH when I had a shirogane house (and didn't realize they changed? my settings? to make it so shirogane fits kugane instead of shirogane's) X_X

I tried to put bard icons, but they appear greyed out when I'm not currently in bard job (the button still works though). And I'll be adding that you can also control volume with macros, so you can have like a 100% master volume and a 50% master volume for when you're on discord chatting, etc.

@@iamPlushie yes, most of these macros are there is settings and do we really need to toggle them.... like says Spell animations... won't it is always the same and if we set once in settings why will we need a macro for it? I appreciate your effort and I learn from your videos, it is just these macros that I need will not have a purpose/utility.

The last one makes no sense to me. Why a macro for items when you can just chang it in your settings, then right click any item and select... sort? Auto sorting gear by ILV. It also works for normal inv sorting by however you have your settings set, like for me I set by type, so all my gathered mats, items for gear exchange, etc all get sorted together? Not only working for gear, your inv, but the chocobo bag and retainers? I fail to see why you would waste a macro to do something you can just right click any item in any bag and just pick sort?

I do have a comment; your drk armor what is that? I’m rather digging those pants
