  I did exactly as you did, and my toon just sits on the ground, that's all, no glow, my question is can all weapons glow or just specific?

  @@user-ou7ze9uv5u some glowing weapons doesn't work but your character is supposed to sit pull weapon out and get back up in a second to be able to make the glitch happen, if it doesn't get back up there is a problem!

  The only thing funnier than "Thal's bals!" is "Matron's teats!" EDIT: Earth is also canon not just from Nier, but because of the Final Fantasy 4 storyline from EW post game. FF4 is set on Earth-- like our Earth. Which means the 13th is Earth.

  1.0 was not better than any of you who weren't in it thought. it was shit. we quit playing the fucking thing for a reason(s). it was utter goddamn shit and not worth the effort and time.

  i further improved this by implementing a gearchange to the specific class mentioned in the tank menu/healer menu/dps menu so you dont need to change classes manualy

  A friend had introduced me to the meme with LA HEE and had just told me that I would discover where it comes from if I continue the MSQ... A few months after discovering this meme, once in the LA HEE zone (a few months ago), I laughed so hard and I was so happy to finally unlock this zone. Having finally finished the MSQ in Rak'tika since a few days ago, I couldn't stand being surprised by the LA HEE when I was in this area... XD For the Big Fat Tacos... I can't unhear that now... Thanks... XD I couldn't remember how terrifying the quests with Edda and Paiyo Reiyo were... O.o And yup, Haurchefant in French is so horny and he probably had feelings for the WoL, well, it was clearly implied several times. xD The live action series, Dad of Light... I started watching it about an hour ago (I've been wanting to watch it since last year, shortly after I started playing FFXIV, and since there's currently a maintenance on FFXIV for the Dawntrail early access release, I thought I'd finally take the opportunity to watch it), but learning that the actor of the father had passed away brought tears to my eyes... It also reminded me that I'd told my father about FFXIV (he loves video games and a long time ago also played Final Fantasy), and he'd started playing it... We used to play it together, and also with friends of mine... It brought us closer together, but for a while he stopped playing it, and I ended up playing it on my own... But of course we get on really well, sometimes not, but in general we're still really close.

  One thing I gotta point out is the "FF djs just play music on youtube" comment is honestly innacurate. The DJ who made that tweet, Potate, for example uses actual decks and has performed live at AREA 51 I'm Vegas during the last FanFest.

  I just tried it and it's truly amazing! Also, is it possible to include there some "ressing <t>" to say I'm picking up the macro target and not my actual target? In my case, I used just like that, but ended getting the boss name.

  Just play ff14 today, do leves with no mount, no jump, you have to run back to cities inn after every 8 leves to get more. you can't teleport because you've already spent your anima. you'll want to use airships. you can't use the marketboard, you can only buy directly from other peoples retainers, you can't use the repair guy, you have to have a crafter fix your gear for you. If you really want to immerse yourself further, use walk instead of run because the maps was far more maze like and bigger in 1.0. make sure you do this on a japanese server because at the release of 1.0 they was only hosted in Japan. cap your fps to 20 or 30 as thats what most pcs ran the game at. now you do not need to wonder. It's close enough. I played 1.0, i still have my legacy character. you've probably heard it before from another legacy player. You do not want this. The only reason i played and tried 1.0 was because WoW released Cataclysm at the time and it sucked. There was nothing else i considered good to play for an MMO at that time.

  Every items you get (whether they are minions or chocobos) are individual cosmetic items, they don't evolve or change! Though, through Main Story Quest (Heavensward, iirc) there's a black chocobo mount if you're interested in that :)

  1.0 had major flaws, which couldn't be fixed without rebuilding everything with how spaghetti the code was, and how on steroids the engine was on. Beside those dammed flower pots with too much shaders and some other little issues, 1.0 was fine. Actually I think we need to credit yoship and his team on that not only for ARR and onwards, but because right when he took the lead, he started with his team fixing 1.0 AS MUCH AS THEY COULD xD Legit 1.23 was great but things were still looking so bad for the future without a whole remake of the game.. Cause lets be honest, WoW looked better, Swtor looked better, many other games looked way better, it was 2010 nearly 2011... But its not the fault of the team, they had to work around the ps3 at that time and eeh... even tho ps2 did an amazing job with FF11.. FF14 on the ps3 was an another pair of sleeves. Oh yea and the 1€ per character, and the market wards... god, please, never that again.

  lol no wow didnt looked better then 1.0 I would say out of the sub games we have today graphically ff14 1.0 looks better we we comprate to other sub MMOs in 2010. while the optimisation on 1.0 was sht yea. still sht not as bad tho(I have a beast pc and cant play ff14 at 4k more than 60 fps). they downgraded ff14 graphics a lot which is sad. animations, graphics, effects were really good in 1.0 to the point that they look better in most cases then current ff14. even the 7.0 graphics update while I makes ff14 look better ff14 still has this plastic, cardboard feel and look that makes the textures and graphics look dated, lets not talk about animations. i wished they didn't downgrade 1.0 as much as they did and just worse on optimising the game. imagine if ff14 still had 1.0 lv of graphics and on top of that it got the 7.0 update, the game wouldn't look dated as it does rn. but I guess the engine and code as you said was too much of a mess to do that
