Causes are:
Disc bulge or prolapsed or disc protrusion or extrusion L4-L5, L5-S1
Facet Joint arthropathy
Central canal stenosis or foraminal canal stenosis
Piriformis syndrome
Treatment :
Treatment depends on centralization or peripheralization of pain.
Centralization- The pain from leg comes to the centre, means if pain travels down the leg then it comes towards back of thigh-buttocks-back pain means centralization, it is recovery sign or prognosis
Peripheralization- It is bad sign, it means the pain is getting worse from back towards the leg.

    im suffering from pain too since 3 yrs.. i did lot of stretches.. sometimes feel better .. sometimes pain becomes intense after stretches...

    @@ayeshanawab4955 I tried everything but nothing worked. Doctors suggest for Lumbar Epidural Injection but not surety. However today after 4 weeks of unbearable pain, Ahamdulillah I feel better. So what I did is avoided any exercise that increase pain. I joined Physio where they use some electric machines to help you overcome this pain with some specific exercises. Besides I'm doing Hot towels before I sleep to the target area. Use Diclofanac patches directly on affected area particularly where you have Disc budge etc. But join a good physio center importantly sit on 14 inch chair with a soft cushion support & avoid heavy lifting n bending.

I have also tried everything and now I have joined physiotherapy the exercises they prescribed are totally different from what is in this video and idk what to do because sometimes I feel better but again it starts paining I have pain while I walk or stand beyond 15 mins.

    I have been doing this 5 excercises for the last 3months and found relief from pain. At first l could not stand properly, but now l can walk easily except climbing of stairs. Now l would like to know which excercises should I follow for life long so that no pain reoccur again. Thanks.

    This was great, thanks, I have been researching "sciatic nerve pain in hip" for a while now, and I think this has helped.     Stretch at 3.37 took away my sciatica pain. It took away my calf pain which didn't go away with common calf stretches. Key in 3.37 was to bring your foot towards yourself.

    Good day, there are thousands of videos about Sciatica nerve pain, its treatments and physical therapy. I have been suffering from Sciatica pain and this video provides the most accurate and correct stretching therapy. I really appreciate your work and concern for wellbeing of people suffering from this very painful experience. I have been following these stretches alongside Homeopathy meds Like R71, Arnica. The allopathy meds I was taking help mildly I was taking Defolonac 75mg, Tramadol and Tylenol 3.

    Sukoon physical therapy I have been having Problem with my Sciatica nerve for over two months now. It started with mild lower back the first week and second week I was traveling from Atlanta to Athens, Greece and when I arrived I could barely walk or stand. I took ibuprofen 800 mg twice a day to reduce inflammation. Arrived back in US and now I was barely able to stand or walk. Sitting and sleeping no problem no pain only if I stand or walk, with walking increases my pain. I had MRI and it showed L4, L5 disk bulge. I watched several videos none helped until I came across your channel and started your stretching techniques. This helps although pain comes back my neurologist is suggesting epidural shot. I am also going to start on Homeopathy medicines instead of pain killers. Question I have is, do you think it is ok to take epidural and continue with your stretching or should I not go for epidural?     Pamarthi jaipratheek well the pain intensity has reduced from like 9-10 down to 4-5 in a worst case situation. I tried everything Physical Therapy, stretches, epidural shots nothing worked. The only treatment which worked in my case was finding a very good Chiropractor. I have been doing chiropractor sessions regularly and also using inversion table. So yes I made progress but only by finding a good chiropractor

    Dr saab your exercises worked like a magic, for once i dont have the need to take medications which were prescribed to me since years (gabapentin and tramadol) . my shooting pain in leg improved in just few days. i was doing part LBP part1 exercises before but didnt have relief, doing these 5 stretches have helped me. what should i do further? carry on with this? my question is will my lower back pain come back again ( my lower acute back pain started over 8 years before and since then i have had 2 epidural injectionsin lower back one 4years back and other 5.5 years back since then with no improvements i was on pain relief medications as and when necessary) ? these exercises greatly improve the sciatica pain i was having. Thanks for your time in advance. Also il like to add your explanations are too good with details of symptoms, causes and treatment. I am sure everyone can relate to you. I cant thank you enough for these 5 exercises you have suggested.

    @@ZafarYTC one suggestion for you that don't be pressurized in your stomach. Go daily washroom and maintain your diet because gas in your stomach is increases your leg pain.

    Respected Sir, I have been mentally very upset for the last three months. ٰ I can't sleep at night because of anxiety۔ I had sciatica (leg) pain three months ago. During this time I did some exercises in ignorance in which the pain came from buttock to leg. After two weeks the pain is gone (and it still doesn't hurt) but for two months now my right toe has been numb. Moving, feeling also but not normal. I'm afraid it won't spread too far. Please tell, can I do these exercises? I have seen many physiotherapists in my area but all of them are useless. They don't say anything. I look forward to hearing from you. You have very good knowledge. For God sack. I look forward to hearing from you.

    Thank you for this video. I had pain in lower back and hip. After doing these stretching exercises once, I got relief in hip pain. It is now only in lower back and that too less. Can I walk briskly as I HV gained weight .
