I was overwhelmed at first (still am) because you have the people who hate the woodsy island and I see people who hate a neat city. Trying to find what meets in the middle. Started Terre forming from the from of my island to make it look symmetrical when you first walk in. So hard to find the right designs though ahhh

@@NintenTalk Oh, no! I would never make fun of you, I find it amazing how well your ideas were thought out. I'm a mom, my kids are all grown, been playing animal crossing since it first came out. Collected all games, all systems, have 4 3dxls, and 2 switches, 4 wiis, 1 wiiu, and gc, systems. I appreciate the hard work you put into your Island and videos. Thank you so much.

Yep! That's me too... Social media just makes me feel like crap when I see everyone's islands. I mean good job for them! A lot of hard work... But like if I invite people over to catalog or sell turnips I'm worried they think my island sucks...

just decorate as you go. Maybe in time you'll make an awesome idea for your island. I don't consider my self very creative; my island started out very plain with houses scattered about until I saw the area in front of my airport and realized I should make it look better and now there is a flower field path leading to the plaza. One thing lead to another and I can say my island looks decent now.

Get the ‘customize path’ it makes laying down customized anything so much easier.. you just have to hit ‘a’ and lay customized tiles where ever you want them.. life and time saver

Yes but u can also pick them up accidentally with y. It’s really getting on my nerves cause when I want to pick up a fruit I pick up the Design accidently

that is one problem and the second is that you need to have the design permanent in your design spaces. If you overwrite them it will also change wherever you applied the design like floor changes or shields..

I feel like I need someone to hold my hand and tell me exactly where to put what. My island just feels so small. I have no idea how to use my space properly. I don't even know how I want it decorated. And the fact that I have to pay Tom Crook to move anything is discouraging.

I have over 200 recipe DIY. Don't know why, but when I save and go back to play a DIY bottle is on my beach, so I get one each time I click to play. If any one needs a DIY recipe, my house is full.

why does everyone else's island seem twice as large as mine? I have so many ideas but I feel like I don't have enough space to do them 😔 plus my island looks too artificial. I've completely gutted the natural look of it and it looks terrible and I don't know how to fix it.

Does anyone else not have animal crossing new horizons, but watches these videos thing ‘ I will do these when I finally get them!’

We need more inventory spaces for custom designs!!! I’m already out of space 😭 also tip: you can just go into the island designer app and lay down custom designs like you would any other path!!!

I've not done anything with my campsite yet but it's definitely on my to do list, these ideas are so helpful!

campgrounds tip: if you have an unused profile you can use it as an extra tent for scenic purposes

The way you decorated the area around your campsite is such a good idea

I just started ACNH about a month ago. I used the log stakes to frame in a playground area I created, they looked so quaint! I REALLY like the idea of customizing them as birch.

I love the doodlebob sand pattern that someone else did. So cool.

I have just random seashells, sand designs and chalk drawings every where. Also add little clovers and stuff on the grass

Putting a cushion on the floor in the same pattern as the picnic blanket also gives you the ability to sit down :)

When using the Custom Designs App to lay custom designs on the ground, you can do two at a time when you're facing the correct way: the one you stand on, and the one directly in front of you. The custom path tool is very helpful when laying out a lot of a single/few designs like roadwork.

@@Cathhe8D Hey there, yes you will need to link your nintendo account. You just have to finish sort of like the tutorial of the game, it only takes a couple minutes, and then you can claim your reward.

With the picnic blanket and path designs you can put them down as paths in island designer. You’ll have to pay to get it but you can then use custom designs as paths or details and it’s so much quicker

I have not come across the wild log bench recipe yet and I reaallyyy want them for my campsite

I was insecure about how beginner my island looks (this is my first animal crossing game) but reading the comments and seeing other people have similar issues makes me feel a little better (especially since Ik we all see the gorgeous islands online that others make). I want everyone to know that their island is awesome and you have the power to change it however you want so just go ham

I haven't even gotten Able Sisters yet (Mable wasn't even at my plaza today 😩) but I'm so nervous about where to place my things because I find it so hard to get money easily. Everyone I know who plays literally has at least 1M bells and here I am just barely having 80k in my savings for my next house loan because I'm running out of storage space in it. Then I'm also trying to build a new bridge so my villagers can get around easier and so I can too. Then I realized it's a game where I can go at my own pace, and I want to be able to atleast play for a year or so before getting bored. I think my island will be perfect even with the amount of times I'll have to pay 50K bells to move a house here or there. It'll take a long time but it'll be slow and sweet hopefully. I'm gonna go with the flow, and occasionally look at inspiration videos like this! Have fun everyone!

Some nice tips, I’ll definitely take some of these-but I am nowhere near as far as you are in this game.

I might do all of them especially the camp that one is just amazing. But first I need to get 1.5Mil bells so I can move all shops and houses. Then change the island's look and but the shops and houses back to their places

Hi, wanted to know if you save a custom codes and then you put "it" on the ground - you can't replace the codes in my phones or else, the ground's design will be overwritten ? So, after you put the design in the ground, you have to keep the specific design on your phone forever. Is there anyway i can overwrite and still have the design on my island ?

How long does it take to be able to get the rewards off the pocket camp app? I've been mindlessly playing for a few minutes but wanna know how long it will take before i can get rewards.

I won't be able to get a switch until later this year when I move back to Europe, I really want to play this gaaaame.
