I was wondering if you have any tips for entrances where the resident services is like... right on top of it? There's only about 5 spaces of room between my Dodo dock and resident services, but it's not centered so it just looks kinda imbalanced.

My island is pretty natural, nothing too crazy outside. I even have a large camping area with weeds and I got 5 stars today. It is possible!

I personally wouldn't use the golf idea since I hate any kind of golf...mini included...but I could see it being amazing and people going crazy with creativity.

I used to hate golf too but once i tried mini golf i fell in love 😂

5:07 important note: putting a custom pattern over a design with a rounded corners only works if at least one pixel of the pattern is transparent. if not, it will display as a regular square even if you put it directly on top of a normal path

one time I noticed a handful of items I know I didn't have before in my catalog. Another tip, check the recycle / lost bin - usually it's just cardboard boxes but occasionally villagers toss out furniture or clothes.

Blxck Rxses same, I would honestly be disappointed if it was seasonal,lol. This is my first time playing animal crossing. I didn’t even know there were previous games from this series. It’s a really fun game so far.

Simple panels are very useful for making billboards and stuff I'm making a baseball stadium and made famous logos and put them on simple pannels and it looks great as an advertisements

Thanks for the tips! Just FYI (I’m not sure if you mentioned this), but custom patterns will only fit the shape of your dirt/stone/etc pattern underneath it when there is at least 1 square in the custom pattern grid that is see-through. Otherwise it will be a square and will just overwrite the path under it instead of blending into it.

@@jadeglantz5426 No problem! Took a lot of trial and error for me to figure this out. But it allowed me to make some pretty nice custom designed roads and sidewalks that blend into the grass :)

My husband and I love how you utilize everything. Especially all the stuff that everyone over looks.

I love the simple panels, I have been planning to use them in my cafe/coffee area when I get it set up and making different menu patterns. I will be setting up the stalls then behind the stalls, I will be putting the panels up like a typical menu board when you go into coffee shops and restaurants.

I love these ideas, especially the information panel! These videos are awesome.

I've used a few of your ideas, such as laying out the town in rows, and I took your behind-the-flagpole-entrance-into-Resident Services thing (my bridge is DIRECTLY behind that area, go figure). Your ideas are super helpful! Too bad I gotta relocate everything. :') Nah, but I'll be okay. I've kind of taken this game as a, "try it, don't like it, redo it." New Leaf was my first and I was WAY more meticulous. But sometimes it's fun to try and fail and try again!

Just want to share how helpful and inspiring this was. I am completely new to Animal Crossing. When I finally unlocked infrastructure changes when my Residence Services building was upgraded, I was completely overwhelmed. I haven't even unlocked Terraforming yet. Ha! Again, thank you, from a person who is just naturally lacking in creativity. Your tips will be put to use on my island.
