Watching this made me so emotional because seeing everyone’s creations and the joy they put into their islands reminds me of how much I love this game. It’s brought me to know amazing people and brought me a happiness I don’t know if another game ever will. Even with a break from it I am always excited to go back and create

My island theme is a kpop theme actually

This gave me so much inspiration. I am currently working on a cozy mountain town island It has aspects of cottagecore forestcore and a short of vibe kinda like your coastal town island. I want to make it a very natural island but with some very rustic town vibes Sort of imagine a town with vibes similar to stardew valley. Thank you for this video ❤

I am shocked junglecore didn't make this list! Its a very fun theme. If you are into nature I would recommend it. It is a lot of trees, flowers, AND SO MANY SHRUBS! It is worth it and looks super nice in the end. I would 100% give it a try

This was lovely, thank you! 💗 I only missed one of my favourite themes in the video: Mediterranean. I've seen some impressive Italian/Spanish inspired towns using castle walls! Being from the Mediterranean coast of Spain myself I can't help but find myself drawn towards that aesthetic 😊

For my next island im thinking of doing fairycore/cottagecore on one part of the island, and then a kind of civilization or town in the middle, and then a more dark witchy area on the other part, basically whoever lives on the island are going through some crazy things (i mean like witches and fairies thats like crazy) thanks for the inspiration

i’ve been thinking of restarting my island for such a long time, but never actually got a chance to think of what theme it should be, this video helped me so much, tysm^^

I bought a nitendo switch three weeks ago and I play animal crossing every single day so far. I really like it! I do not have a theme yet, but I want to have a few themes combined from this point forward. I think of the castlecore, cotagecore , coastal town and natural together. I think my island will turn out lovely, I hope :)

Mine's a no core island, but I'm planning to flatten my island soon and perhaps gonna use the elegant - city core vibes 😃

I really love the mushroom theme and autumn with like overgrown but neat plants everywhere- sorta like dark Acidamia i loooveee that style its really cute and simple 😭😭 but i just dont know what to create i haven't even played this before and looking to get it for Christmas, i played on a 3ds when i was little but i dont remember much from it, but i just wanna make something aesthetic where i can come onto and just relax in the island 😭💞

I’ve actually deleted my save data because I hated the way my island was going and I’m definitely going to do a grandmacore/farmcore/cottagecore island!!!👵🏻🐄🌾

Im going to mix Japanese rural with Coastal town and Overgrown I think. And also add some of my own touches. I'm currently working on a towncore/springcore island, I think my next might be a coastal town thanks to this video!

This wants me to change my island theme the people that made these islands are so creative! My favorite was the space/moon theme or what it was. But since I already have an island theme and also some builds done I don’t feel like changing it.

I think i created my own Island theme 👀Ive called it ‘metalcore’ and It’s basically a gothic looking Island But based on my favourite metal bands! (nightwish, ghost ect)

Cool video! I love the winter island. I’d love to know how the creator made the circular peppermint candy designs on the ground along with the hook shaped candy canes and holly/mistletoe designs on the ground. All the designers of these islands are very talented. I also love the island that looks like the surface of the moon and the underwater island. I love them all! I wouldn’t know how to even begin to create these cool islands, so my hat is off to these talented designers. Edited for grammar

I doing an autumn core with an apple theme as well. I reset so many times to get an island close enough to what I wanted. I didn't get an orange airport, but the rest was okay.

@@Vampiric-Princess airports come in 4 colors. Green, yellow, blue and orange. The colors are for aesthetics and will also determine what items you have in your Nook stop kiosk.

Dark Academia is what I've been working on. It really reminds me of places like Italy, which is where my Grandma is from! I'm planning on showing it to her once I'm done.

I like the seasonal themes and such,it makes me feel like I had a childhood once,I also like the pirate theme because I love PIRATES

i loved playing new leaf as a kid, and i’m glad new horizons is implementing parts of the older games! the only thing i know that i’m doing with my island is maybe no terraforming?? and i want to keep it pretty natural! might do a farm granny 50s thing???

I’m so tempted to do a different theme but I’ve already payed of some rather expensive bridges that wouldn’t fit the theme I’m thinking of changing to :’)

Mine is a mixture of a sugary sweet candy island with a 60’s/vintage aesthetic, like villagers like Audie and chrissy/Francine

I’m thinking of a Christmas Harry Potter theme. Little gifts for dream visitors, pick your house, things like that, but also really heavy on the Christmas decorations.

I think like flowerful islands with light paths and like softie style will be my go-to island! It's super beautiful! (It's not springcore bot close. More flowers than trees :D)

I loved all of these islands! As much as I would like to make either a fairycore island or a Witchy theme island, I've been looking for some islands that have a more modern theme to it. I would love to have a more business theme for my island for something similar to it! If anyone has some recommendations for themes, I would love to hear them!

Omg, i just realised now that i make my island in Grandmacore vibes without knowing thats so cool :)

As fun as these look to do you have to keep in mind that the shape of the island you get can make or break a project like this, I happened to get a bad shape, so no matter how much terraforming and rearranging I do I'm not going to be able to do stuff like this, I'm trying to the rustic one right now but I can't.. get it right, it's going to be ugly no matter what, I honestly don't even feel like continuing anymore, I used to love this game so much two years ago, but I met my very first girlfriend on this game and long story short she ended up being a monster and it left a lot of emotional scaring so now everytime I open my game it makes me think of her and I can't gain the motivation to put the love I used too.

My favourite ones are dark academia and overgrown!!! Definitely

i really love these ideas, and incase someone else wants another unique idea, i made my island to be like a school campus and put school uniforms in able sisters and basically made the whole island a school campus + houses are like dorms

What im doing for my island is a seasonsl core where the decor and paths change as the season changes x

I love grandmacore and think after I get everything put down (I just started don’t even have the Abel sisters yet) I will work towards this looks.

Im working on a pirate-steampunk island currently, and my next island is gonna be comfortcore (??) Basically it’ll just be things that bring me comfort, like certain villagers, the colors green and white and brown, and some other things 😋😋

I like to refer to my island as “Home Depot” core, I have a lot of random stuff

If anyone likes both Animal Crossing and Miitopia, can you maybe help me out? I’m trying to create a Miitopia themed Animal Crossing Island and was hoping for some villager ideas? I picked Sterling for my Warrior, Goldie for my Cleric, and Julian for my Mage for instance. I think I need help finding good villagers for the fairy sisters. I already picked some, but I just want to make sure those aren’t my only choices😅
