Landmarks are a huge part of what makes campaigns exciting to me, so I really hope they add more. It's almost a "the more the merrier"-thing to be honest.

Yeah that little space of the Chaos Wastes is BUSY! You get Malus Darkblade > Epidemius > Daniel/Yuri/Daemon Prince > Archaon > Tamurkhan > Kholek are all one province adjacent

Well I like being overpowered at the end but not enough to where you get bored but if it makes it fun on legendary where those buff will come in hand then I am down for it lol that one way to balance out the lvl difficulty for AI

18:50 It's such a tease that this would be a massive defeat trait to farm for Tomb Kings but you'll probably never get to him before he's eliminated.

Recruit defeated legendary lords mod for the AI will make sure he is somewhere. Or liberate all factions so you can resurrect him once you get to his starting position. Both mods are very well maintained and reliable. The saving grace of Warhammer 3 is how easy it is to mod. Take advantage of it!

The elector counts knight units are empire knights. So they will get the upkeep cost reduction buff also.

I feel like nurgle needs more landmarks, especially since they didn't get a single one until at least a year into the game.

I guess there isn't really that much to draw from lorewise for the chaos gods since they don't actually really live on the warhammer fantasy world. But corrupted versions of Athel Loren and the other magical forests would be pretty neat. Maybe something similar for captured Dawi strongholds since Ku'gath in particular really hates the shorties for being so hard to infect. Defiled tombs or something.

@@Somedude317 My knowledge of AoS isn't the best either, so I don't know if they have a Vaul's Anvil in AoS. But if they were added to fantasy, it'd be funny to have yet another one on the map. That and Idoneth are just cool

I love the way that Malakai's trait is something that Dawi factions would love to have access to... Same as Kislev with Little Grom and the Empire's Hellstorm Rockets, as well as Grand Cathay's Fire Rain Rockets and possibly Grand Cannons... Why does it help the Ordertide Factions more than the Chaos ones (outside of the Skaven and Chorfs)!? That said... Chorf Mortars with 10% more radius will be straight up broken.

I agree that Karak Dum needs a landmark. Maybe something that buffs ambush success & defense? In the spirit of the survivors there and how they used the secret passageways to hunt. Maybe also a factionwide recruit rank buff for rangers?

I think that is my favorite part of the game inside campain map bilding Landmark and little lore stuff inside

These are all of the new Landmarks minus the Gelt-exclusive one in Cathay at the Temple of the Elemental Winds. Including for the new characters

Chaos factions when they see the great Congo Line of Tomb King Pilgrims going to spank Tamurkhan to get much cheaper and easier access to heroes.

It just occurred to me that you can probably farm the dwarf defeat traits with dwarf lords now without compromising your ability to recruit the lords in question thanks to the new grudge system. So now you can farm Thorek's insane trait on your lords before forcing a confederation with him. Also if Elspeth gets 50 % for her knights with the iron resolve ability then surely Ungrim's slayer ability is also getting buffed back to 50 % from 75 %? Otherwise there's something weird going on in CA's logic. EDIT: holy shit Tarmurkhan's defeat trait is absolutely the best thing in the game for Tomb Kings. Just wow.

This is what I needed to get out of all of the new info from 5.0 as someone who doesn't really play dwarfs, empire, and Nurgle but has friends that do.

I havent really played wh1 or 2. Got into it on the third one. Immortal empires is such a fun thing. Tried a little bit greenskin yesterday. But we will see if I try more until the expansion , witch I really hope deliveres. New landsmarks and defeat train is so cool. Seeing at 3.30 with Neferata, I really hope we get her soon. Probably the legendary lord I want most even if there is alot of cool once I want.From reading around for varius factions/races there and 50s if not more possibilites. I have a whole list on my phone. Anyway whats the likeyhood of getting say something between Tod and say midt July? Or do you think after ToD it will be quiet for a while? Didnt Nuln have landmark buildings in early wh games? Anyway it would be cool if you managed to convince them with the landmark buildings for Epidemius, Barak Varr, Karag Drum would be nice . I am also kind of hoping that we get a legendary hero free too in like Snorri or Jubal Falk or even Ludwig. Thanks for the info , must have taken quiet a while to this.

Does “all chaos factions” for the Throne of Chaos landmark include Warriors and Daniel? Nuln IS a dark fortress, and Festus is right there so I’m hoping he at least can build it.

Damn, that Tamur-can't traits is so tempting to just send some random armies there just to kill it, specially for those factions that dont get 3+ heroes on short victory. Btw The Oak of Ages landmark is just a copy of the one that skaven have already, and probably that should be available for all if not most factions, and that goes for every big tree, i mean, taking down a gigant tree in a really bad climate should give something in exchange at least.

Seems odd that the khorne/tzeentch/slaanesh/woc don't get skulks/grimoires/devotees/souls from their versions of the throne. Given they all have different garrisons, they should be different buildings so they could... Also, Tamurcan't should be +1, not +3, that's crazy!

I wouldn't mind additional 'desecrated' type landmarks. In particular Hell Pit and Skavenblight, they are big important places which can be annoying to take over but only have landmarks for Skaven.

Can you imagine farming Tamurkhan? You just have to have the recruitment building ready and spam heroes in a matter of turns.

Surely they mean Hero recruit rank +3 instead of capacity for Tamurkhans? These traits all seem incredibly good, but that one is just absurd. Every Faction in the game would benefit from that to such an insane degree even if you just killed him once, but honestly I would set up a trait farm for that.

tamurkhan be farmed, but the 2 other non flc lords may be a pass for some factions, for example vampire counts

I never cared for the empire factions before but now I just gotta play them cause they are looking real fun now and I am ready to spread good rather than evil don’t get me wrong I am still a on the side of grandfather Nurgle but before I joined his ranks I was once human and and I still can dimly recall my days as a human before I became a greater demon!

Is the Temple of Elemental Winds for all factions or just the Empire? As a High Elf main I've been feeling pretty salty that Gelt is now a more powerful magical faction than Teclis, and this would just send me over the (world's) edge (mountains).

@ethanwilliams1880 I mean as a faction. Gelt gets 20% spell cost reduction as well as 10% in skill trees, as well as access to cataclysm spells and 8 powerful magical items. Teclis gets... +5 recruit rank for Archmages.

Did they change Ghorsts defeat trait yet? one of the annoying things about fighting him as Ku'gath was that his defeat trait is useless for him. I think a good thematic change would have been to give him immune to contact effects but I see they already gave that to Epidemius.

Idk, some defeat traits are generally useful while others are situational. Ghorst's trait is pretty good for other lords even if it's not for Ku'gath. At least it's not Mannfred's.
