What he said about eating in the morning before training even though you might not be hungry is very true. I tried going to the gym one morning without eating because I wasn't hungry and by the time I got home from my workout I was seeing blurry and getting symptoms of hypoglycemia.
“Managing your decline”. Wow, never thought of it like that. Great video as always. So inspiring. This is a great aspect to look at for longevity. Thanks so much
Hard to argue with a man who's over 50 and looks as good as he does mixed with his longevity. Kudos!!

Thanks for showing the value of consistency.
Awesome vid bro giving us all your years of experience, knowledge and insight into a 26 minute clip for free, priceless 🤙.
Years ago when I fought professionally I was was training 4-5 hours throughout the day, 6 days per week. I was able to maintain about 8-10% bodyfat at 5'11" and 192-195lbs. I was consuming 5,300-5,000 calories per day. There were times I was so tired from training I hated eating, but the hungry pains several hours later if I skipped a meal would wake me from a dead sleep.

@@potatowaffle5653 There were days I did hit between 5,500 and 6,000, but I was sometimes just too tired to eat. As far as today, I'm 45 and now a business and marketing consultant. My training has switched to distance running. I can get away with only 2,500-3,000 today.

Yoooooo! Wow so much great info here feels like a different side of the titan in this vid. Thank you to a living legend in the game!
Thanks for the great video. I apply a lot of what you said with the off-season and bulky phase. Can’t do the same amount of cardio year round, won’t work when you need to get leaner. Some of my friends who are very big and muscular and in phenomenal shape taught me this and the dieting aspect years ago. And seeing is believing. Training properly, eating right, supplementation, rest, and sleep all must be done in order to optimize your gains. I also loved all the valuable information on the foods you eat and recommend. Thank you for time and sharing this with us.

I really like you included the collagen, a very overlooked protein that’s key for joint recovery and health. Just as important as muscle health. Vitamin c at at least 1,000 mg on top will help with the absorption of the collagen protein

Mike, this is a great clip you did... so I'm in my late 40s and since around 43 or so, I noticed my waistline growing... Never had a problem with this before... I still eat clean for the most part and watch my late night bites... What do you recommend for keeping the waist tight? Particularly - lower abs... I'm a fitness guy so this is a hard adjustment.. That and having to go buy bigger belts to fit into..
pretty sincere, meaning well with hard-learned insights and expertise - thanks
another quality information filled video from the man himself, mike o’tren !
Hey Titan what is your take on Fat Gripz or fat bar benching while incline pressing or fat bar training in general, do you think it's a good idea? Would very much Appreciate the feedback. Thanks Titan 💪🔥
Lol he said I’m keeping the pineapple for Mona.😂 I see what you did there Mike 🤣
Coach M you are the best athlete in the world. Thank you for your knowledge and experience for the people who want to become better. I'm 44 feeling 22...
I'm a 45 year weight trainer and still a student of the game. This is the stuff that gets me fired up. For all you aspiring lifters - If the man has it and you desire it - two eyes, two ears for input, one mouth for output. This translates to LISTEN, WATCH and LEARN. That man above has forgotten more than 99% of you know, so ear and eye this wisdom till the muscle has no choice but to grow.
Thank you..Great info. Very helpful 👌 ☺️
As good as a year round pair of abs may sound…. I love food, man! I love it when pros reveal their food intake, cause it makes me want to eat more! Good healthy eating! Keep the videos coming, titan crew.

Hi Sir, thank you Mike so much for all your info, and I as well love the lifestyle of bodybuilding as well! I have one question; I have been struggling with this for about two years, I hate the feeling of working out while full, do you find yourself working out when you are full, or do you wait till your food is semi digested, and how do you fight the uncomfortable feeling of bloating, and feeling stuffed while working out and lifting heavy weights. I find that if I work out full, it can cause pain to my lower back, especially training abbs. All respect to you O'Hearn...! Thank you
Awesome video I now know that I'm starting to look at this very differently in a good way
You're an amazing role model for people that lift and want to be healthy also. Thanks for all the tips and help. One question though, your milk zero fat?

I like that Mike emphasis the need to eat. New Fitness influencers make it ought to be as if you gotta shred to gain muscle which is the exact opposite of what you should do. Eating is the most important part of fitness and most people dont do it right !
This is why i love your content mike , im 35 , been training for years but still feel like everyday's a school day in regards to training and nutrition. Respect from Scotland 💪👌
