What he said about eating in the morning before training even though you might not be hungry is very true. I tried going to the gym one morning without eating because I wasn't hungry and by the time I got home from my workout I was seeing blurry and getting symptoms of hypoglycemia.

Years ago when I fought professionally I was was training 4-5 hours throughout the day, 6 days per week. I was able to maintain about 8-10% bodyfat at 5'11" and 192-195lbs. I was consuming 5,300-5,000 calories per day. There were times I was so tired from training I hated eating, but the hungry pains several hours later if I skipped a meal would wake me from a dead sleep.

Some of my friends who are very big and muscular and in phenomenal shape taught me this and the dieting aspect years ago. And seeing is believing. For all you aspiring lifters - If the man has it and you desire it - two eyes, two ears for input, one mouth for output. This translates to LISTEN, WATCH and LEARN. I'm 21 Mike, and I have to say some people may think you're arrogant or something but the information and experience you have is golden.

I like that Mike emphasis the need to eat. New Fitness influencers make it ought to be as if you gotta shred to gain muscle which is the exact opposite of what you should do. Eating is the most important part of fitness and most people dont do it right !

Thanks, Mike O'Hearn I love this information it makes sense and I will follow. As you see I am down to 195LBS from fat skinny 225LBS in the last 22 weeks so now it is time to gain size and I will follow your instructions can hardly wait to grow more. A 50-year-old vegan would like to compete in an amateur show in Nova Scotia I am sure I can win brother.
