45 Minute Arm Sculpting workout with Abs - Dumbbells only!

Welcome to another Cdornerfitness workout!
Today, we're focusing on a 45-minute arm sculpting workout with an added bonus of abs, using only dumbbells. This workout is designed to help you define your muscles, strengthen your upper body, and improve your posture.
We'll be targeting all the major muscle groups in your arms, including your chest, back, biceps, triceps, and shoulders, as well as engaging your core for that extra burn.
This workout is not just about sculpting your arms, but also about building functional strength that benefits your everyday life
You'll need a set of dumbbells for this workout. Feel free to choose multiple weights that challenges you, but also allows you to perform each exercise with proper form. Remember, it's not about the weight you lift, but about the technique and control you maintain throughout the workout

I have been lifting for 35+ years and I work hard to push myself. Osteoporosis runs in my family(maternal and paternal) so I know I must take care of my bones and muscles. I am 51 and recently went to get a hip looked at. The Dr told me I have the skeleton of a teenager. (Tendons, not so much, lol). Thank you Chris for helping all of us stay healthy. Toned and strong is the new skinny!! ❤

Great workout today for me (Saturday 02.12.23). Using heavier weights but this will make you smile, I have to keep putting my glasses on to see the value of the weights as now I have more black dumbbells I cannot red them without the glasses 😂. Sign of old age! Thank you Chris for making me smile today

I did this yesterday, and i was not okay.😂 I used to think that doing a workout, meant I had burn a minimum of 500-800 calories. If I didn't, then that meant it wasn't an effective workout or I just didn't work hard enough. That's why I didn't do strength workouts for a long time. Little did I know that these strength workouts would become a pivotal point in my health journey. Not only is cardio more effective, but I'm able to do everyday things like carrying groceries and even getting up from the couch a LOT easier.😅 Sweat and high calorie burn is not always an indicator of an effective workout.

TGIF! I woke up with no motivation to get my workout done. My workouts are a habit and I'm consistent so with low motivation I was able to just power through. I have a minor tweak in my lat/shoulder area so I went a lot lighter than I normally go and modified a few things. This was the first morning my dog didn't bark at Louie. I'm not sure if he had low motivation, too, or has given up trying to make Louie his friend 😂😂 thanks for always posting workouts for the week, even when it's a replay! I like having the week planned out. You are incredible, Chris!

This was a great workout! It was actually one of my cardio days, but I decided to do strength instead- something I NEVER thought I would choose! I was definitely a cardio queen, and would dread doing weights- they always seemed boring and I would burn fewer calories doing them. I started working out with you nearly 2 years ago, and did only your step classes, but thanks to your (constant) encouragement in your videos to do strength training , I challenged myself to do one strength video a week. Now I’m up to 3- and I actually look forward to them!! Thank you for being so encouraging and for giving us so many videos to choose from!!

(I thought as I get older I'm supposed to work less, but I'm doing the opposite) Loved the workout, the last 15 minutes were killer., but I did it and didn't have to move down in weight. So great! I know I did this one before (only because I remembered you talking about the NYC dance troupe) but I have no idea why it wasn't saved in my repeat folder. This whole video is all my favorite moves! I loved it. I really like when you do an AMRAP section that goes by time, not by counting movements. I feel like when we count movements (like do each rep 10 times or whatever) I fall behind and then get all off. With the timed segments it doesn't matter if I go a little slower than you. Anyway, this was great! Thank you!

Great workout! Doing 30-45 seconds allows me to try heavier weights and I was able to do heavier on some moves but I did have to stop doing skull crushers and just do kickbacks because it hurts my elbows if I do a heavier weight to feel the tri’s. Modify modify modify. 🙌🏻😎💕💪🏻

YAY!!! Great job Connie! Have you tried the skullcrushers with a band around your arms? It will help keep your elbow in alignment!

An awesome upper body & ab workout. Graduated to my 12s for the last 2 AMRAPs of bicep curls. Hope you’re feeling better each day.❤

Another good one...love upper body workouts! So I was going to let you know about "tippy toe" then "Bosco" but I obviously wasn't live on this one. But maybe you thought about Ovaltine from the Bania episode..."why do they call it Ovaltine, it should be called 'Roundtine'". I love all your Seinfeld references! 😀

I absolutely LOVE this video. The compound core stability exercises are AMAZING. Love love love the 35 and 45 sec sets bc I can go slower and heavier. I do have a question. 15 lbs for bi is too light for me and 20 too heavy. I don’t have 17s but would be perfect. Do I really need to get them or is there some other way I can slowly build up to 20?

Thank you so much!! Great question, and there are a couple things you can do. You can sometimes use the 20s but alternate arms if we are doing both arms, that will slowly get you stronger to use them. OR..not what you want to hear, but, yes get some 17s, I honestly love having that extra option for in between
