4 Strange Ways to Turn a Guy On Emotionally

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I work with women looking to attract a long-term relationship that lasts, and if you're looking for commitment rather than a hookup, it's important to start a new connection the right way.
So, how do you do this?
You build emotional attraction.
If a man asks you out and is pursuing you, there's a high chance he is already physically turned on by you. But how do you build that all-important emotional connection?
Hint: you don't need to head to the bedroom!
Here are some strange (but proven) ways to turn a guy on emotionally.
Discover how to create your love strategy: lovestrategies.com/
Withhold intimacy until you build that emotional connection
Ten years ago, I went to an event and met this amazing woman who I instantly connected with. We ended up on a first date, and everything was going great until she said:
"Look, can we just skip all this and go back to your place? I like to look for sexual compatibility before getting to know someone."
I was shocked! Although this is most guys' fantasy, it had never happened to me before, and I didn't know what to do.
What's funny is it instantly killed the vibe we had the moment it happened. All that juicy tension that was building between us was gone. I wasn't feeling it anymore, and neither was she.
In life, we value what we work for. When something is too easy, we rarely appreciate it.
This is why if you're looking for a relationship, I recommend staying clear of the bedroom until you've gotten to know the guy and built a friendship. Make him work for you!
Change your voice tonality to something more soft & sensual
If you're looking for a masculine, dominant, alpha-male kind of guy, then you've got to give men a chance to lean into their masculine energy.
How do you do that?
By leaning into your feminine energy.
Many of our clients here at Love Strategies are alpha females at the top of their careers and natural leaders. I've found that a lot of these women spend most of their time in their inner masculine because their work requires this and because they have a misconception that feminine energy is weak. But feminine energy is powerful in its own way.
One of the best ways to lean into your femininity is to bring awareness to your tone of voice and speak in a softer, more sensual way.
The words we say matter a lot less than how we say them.
Ask him for advice
One of my clients is a chief software engineer and works at the top of a super successful Silicon Valley company. Last week she mentioned she was talking to a guy she liked but could feel him slipping away. She also noticed that she had gradually been defaulting back to her take-charge alpha mode.
I told her, "Ask this guy for some advice."
"I don't need any advice!" she said.
I asked her, "do you want to feel wanted by this guy?"
"Yes," she answered.
"Well, he needs to feel needed by you."
Most guys (at least high-value ones) are not intimidated by smart, successful women. However, they do want to feel needed in a non-needy way.
A simple way to make them feel needed early on is to ask for some advice. You could ask him if he knows the best yoga studio in town, a recommendation on a neighborhood to move to, or tips on how to go shopping for a new car and snag a deal.
When you do this, he will instantly feel needed and want to guide you through the process. This is a great way to build an emotional connection.
Try something new together
The final way to emotionally turn a guy on is to have a new experience together. I recommend doing this after you've gone out with a guy two or three times and you're at what I call Little Love Step #4.
You could explore a new city, go rock climbing on a date, or visit a vineyard together. Whatever it is, it has to be new for both of you, and it has to be fun and exciting!
What this will do is help him associate that fun and excitement with you. And this is a powerful way to connect on a deep, emotional level.
The #1 thing I do not recommend you do
Do not, under any circumstances, send a guy a picture of you that you would not want to be posted on social media.
Unfortunately, many women find themselves in a situation where photos they send in a private context to a guy are shared with his friends or, worse, posted online. Once a picture like that gets out, you can't take it back.
Of course, this is a gross breach of privacy and trust. The best thing you can do to avoid this is to not send photos like this to anyone you don't fully know or trust. It's not worth it, and you don't need to do this to build a meaningful connection.

Ladies, if a man is emotionally unavailable, there’s nothing you can do to “make” him available. Move along and find a man who is, if that’s what you want

I thought about doing that. It's easier to just discard a person like that...but then again I love my husband and his emotional issues were put there by childhood trauma and his parents not being emotionally available to him and I understand that on a similar level. He shows me love in more subtle ways and in a way I guess he appreciates me more that I didn't just discard him like other women have just on the part of him being a broken man. I'm not saying people should seek out projects like that...by all means seek what fits your needs and your lifestyle. It's easy to recognize the disabilities of people on the outside, but to recognize a person's emotional disabilities is almost a spiritual experience. I can fulfill myself emotionally on my own and I don't need validation from a man per se because I've done my own trauma and abandonment work healing myself. Be part of the solution not the problem is kind of my motto. Enough narcissism going around in this world anyways.

@@aqua6613 wanting to be with a healthy partner who loves you the way you want to be loved is not narcissistic. If you’ve taught yourself to be happy with scraps from your man then by all means live and love that life for yourself if that’s what you want to choose to do. But that’s not something I would ever encourage anyone else to do, especially not if they want to feel loved and secure, and be in a loving and safe relationship.

I don't think you can overestimate the power and importance of genuinely asking a man for his advice or opinion on something your buying/ building, etc. I do this very often. It keeps the guys 'engaged' in our relationships, and I learn a lot. I don't look weak or incapable, but humble and open to different ideas and views. It's really a win-win.

Excellent advice. I know it killed the vibe because it was too early in the date. Mane love women. I am a woman who has a loud voice on a usual basis and it sounded commanding. Not in a hot way. Kind of condescending. So I learned to be softer and ask for things what turned him on instantly. Women sho are in charge (like a boss at a company) find that hard. So just even pretend. Suggest something you like but, are asking tentatively IF he likes that.

I tried asking my husband for advice but he either took it as a sign of incompetence or became incredibly anxious and it didn't create any bond between us at all. My questions for you over affairs. 1 is it turth that Not every affair involves sex. ARE still affair or do people need sex for affair or cheating to happen ur not. 2 are you really sure it affair without having no no sex. 3 is it turth that Cheating doesn't always have to involve sex or even talking about sex.

Agree. I really can't get into a feminine voice from a man... And it's definitely different from a softer voice. One of the things I absolutely love about my man is his voice, it is soothing, it is sensual, And I don't mean a super deep voice, just gruff enough to be completely manly and sexy. Oh geez.. now I'm daydreaming 🤣

It IS a woman 's job to hold herself with the honor, respect, love she seeks. All this guy is saying, is dont give your treasure away to him immediately, lean into everything that makes you feel yum , including being flirty but holding him at bay. And create bonding experiences before seggsyy time. Its smart. And MOST women (including me) who've found the emotionally unavailable again and again....are not doing these things.

Been talking to a man for almost 3 years. Because of the pandemic and him getting sick with lead poisioning we have not been together physically. It's only been emotional. He has never tried to scam me or ask for .money. I always tell him to get better. He has been out of work because of covid and his lead poisioning. Yet he has never asked for money. When he does have money he feels like he has to send me money. So anyway it's been all emotional.

I hate to say this but what if he js an emotional catfish. Bless you, you deserve to walk without a heavy burden of missing someone that long. I waited for years on a man who was just manipulating me by stringing me along but bc we had deep conversations it seemed sincere and bc I didn't do online dating I wasn't aware as much and of fishes in the sea principle / ' we have a choice in treatment' ( same goes for men ofcourse). I wasted my thirties. I wish I had tried online dating to wake me up in my youngest years. We get attached on a human level and maybe your man is sincere but it's strange that he talks about sending you money. Could it be reversed psychology?

Diff countries/live in, I mean no richness turns him to be w me because he says his son needs 1-2 more years w him and son's mother is there too he s giving child support too! So why he wont move to my country!! 8 months into our relationship, Im here in his country for 2.5mo. He first told me his son once teenage age (now) could be on his own/ without his emotional support. So he lied. Weird for a full European guy to lie...

Yes! Absolutely!! Through online sex addiction or pursuing an individual knowing the one that you are with would be very hurt if they knew. Basically, if there is any scenario that you put yourself into where your significant other would become hurt, jealous or disapprove because it's toxic behavior or a form of infidelity...its cheating.
