Justin... You've demonstrated your knowledge of kayaking and your awareness of needs and necessity as applies to a kayak. My question... How are your designing skills? I believe you would be the best man for the job ! No rocket science major has ever flown a rocket anywhere, and neither have those who design kayaks ! Who could know better about the needs of a Catfishing Kyaker than YOU ? MAKE IT HAPPEN. WE BELIEVE IN YOU ! I anticipate seeing YOUR LOGO on a uniquely specific Kayak in the near future !!!!!

Been watching for a few years and find out you are a Bowler, Great video!! Thanks for taking us with you!! I've been bowling for 25 years and won the Kentucky Open in 1990 and toured a few years but the money is not there anymore. I have bowled 22 - 300 games and now you are teaching me to catch bigger catfish along with new techniques. I also repair all the lane equipment at VERNON LANES in Louisville which is the 2nd oldest wooden lanes in the U.S. Great call on the speed reduction!! Good luck on the Bowling!!!

Justin, you deserve every fish you catch. I have hunted big cats for years. We don't have blues, but flatties get to 40 or 50 # channels to maybe 10 to 12 range. I want to be in Tennessee so bad!

I honestly have fished cut bait and worms for years, but I have a buddy that primarily fishes for crappie, and a couple years ago he showed me how to ultralight fish and I absolutely fell in love with jig ultralight fishing, and occasionally I will catch a dink cat but seem to catch alot more wipers, so in our area ultralight fishing seems to catch and target crappie, wiper, and saugeye, every time we go out we seem to catch all those species, and we clean them and eat them, but now that I have a Bixby on my yak I troll alot and catch alot of fish, I love it, but these winter months are giving me cabin fever, but to sooth that is to watch your videos, keep them coming you do a fantastic job

Hey Justin …. I’m at the two hour mark of this video. I definitely enjoy these long videos especially during the winter months. You and Spencer have kept my spirits up battling my disability. I appreciate all the work you do in the filming and posting these videos. As of now, 02/04/2024 I ordered two new poles and three new reels. You guys taught me so much about catfishing in 2022, I had a successful 2023 season. Though up here in Connecticut, we do not have blues or flats, we do have some nice fighting Channel Cats (your favorites 😂). I have to fish for what’s in my environment. So now I am officially prepared for the 2024 season. I’ve used all types of bates, from crawlers to chicken livers which worked, but found out that shrimp is the best. In October, I caught my biggest catfish ever. It was a 35 inch channel cat. I owe this to you guys !! Ignore my spelling errors I don’t have my glasses lol Thank you again!! Dan 👮🏻‍♂️👮🏻‍♂️

Hi Justin! I’m so glad that you’re telling everyone to sit in and try every kayak. I’ve been doing that very thing…used of course. I almost bought the first one I found because of the good price but he happened to be my age and told me to sit in it. Sooo glad he did. It was ok at first but after a bit, my legs started tingling really bad so it wasn’t going to work for me. So far, I’ve not found one that is comfortable for me. L5 and a previous tailbone fracture make sitting, standing or laying for extended stretches painful. All of the kayaks here for sale have felt like sitting in an old corvette. Uncomfortable now. lol

Glad to see another uncut catfish video, and 4hrs worth. That gives me hope your seeing what you would like to see in the numbers and folks are watching. So hopefully, we'll get to see more. Can't lie I fell asleep let the video pay through to not upset your views. Know I'm watching it over and skipping the commercials, I don't know exactly how this works, so my question is fast forwarding to what I last remember before and skipping the commercials dose that hurt the channel, if it does let me know and when I pick back up where I was ill let the commercials play through. Please be honest I don't want to hurt the channel at all.

Speaking of ultralight, IF you wanted to target some Bream or Sunfish I'd be interested in how you would go about it. With the water levels around here fluctuating so much I always have a hard time getting on any. I'd like to see a raw/uncut of trying to get some! Might go out today if I can get my chores done.

If I had to go out ultralight fishing today, I would probably start at a creek mouth and work my way back unless I saw shad or bait in the shallows. I did some catfishing this morning and the bait was still around 40 feet deep so I figure that’s where most of the fish are too.

just seen the part your discussing kayaks ! You said you liked the old town , but not the motor and basically why buy it at retail price if your not gonna use the motor… maybe the old town pedal similar to the auto pilot one you had , just a suggestion, I forget the specs on it, or just get another hobbie like you have , or heck get with hobbie an help create the kayak catfish version( most bada$$ yak on the planet ) like your Rod 🤷‍♂️ Thanks for the autographed ball cap !

You sound a lot like the fella that runs the YT channel "Out of the Woods". You guys should think about narrating some stories, I'd listen to em.

Subject us to 3 or 4 hours of a skunk? How often does that happen to you. I fished an entirely new to me section of a river recently and had to deal with a skunk. Only had frozen bait, and water temp was barely 50°.

I get skunked more in the winter than any other time of year. I definitely wouldn’t ever post a skunk video though

1:56:32 you only need 2 rods! I need 20! Planer boards are good for walleye or salmon. Boards for catfish ain't right.

If I get on a good artificial bite with the livescope, I will definitely rig up a mount to film it.
