I love all your work. However, with the binding, I do it in reverse and recommend to you to try it on a small sample… see if you like the result. So, steps 1 and 2 same as yours. Step 3, sew the binding on the back of the quilt just as you sew it in the front. Step 4, sew the binding on the front of the quilt using the “stitch-in-the-ditch” presser foot. You position the center of the foot right at the edge of the binding and move the needle to the right 2 or 3 positions, as you like it better. I also like to have a longer stitch when I do the front to see more the stitches. If you use this foot, you are able to keep an equal distance from the margin of the binding and stitches look very nice, now wavy at all. Just try it at least once and comment here if you liked it or not. Best wishes to you !
