I love puff quilts. You need to turn your volume up.Its had to hear you.
They are nice. Thanks for watching!
What a great quilt!
@@robinsquiltbasket Thanks so much! I’m really glad you like it.
Love your Lone Star (45 degree stars are my favorite), and Dashing Diamonds, also using two of my favorite blocks (and Rulers), Diamond Rectangles (though it looks like you used 2x Triangle in Square).
Thanks so much!
Beautiful quilt, both fabrics and design. I love my CG FCC ruler. I wouldn't quilt without it.
I totally agree! Thanks so much!
For any with an acrylic sewing table, an instant light box is created by putting a light underneath. Also, using a spent needle in your machine, you can perforate the lines which makes it easy to use and fold. And a hot hemmer provides a really thin strong edge for folding. The Add A Quarter for those who paper piece will give you smooth productivity. Really stunning project.
Thank you. Those are great suggestions. Thanks for watching.
This block is one of those that if I didn't have Deb's ruler (or TriRecs tool), I wouldn't bother to make it. I make hundreds of the blocks for projects. The efficiency of the tool for both time and fabric is unbeatable. Rulers are an investment. I like to have them for my foundational blocks where they more than pay for themselves in time, effort, money.
I agree the Studio 180 Design tools are worth the investment. Thanks for watching.
Beautiful quilt! Is there a written pattern available?
Thank you and thank yo for your interest in this pattern. It is available one my web site at bluebearquilts.com/product/comfy-cats-quilt-pattern-digital-download/ and on my Etsy shop at bluebearquilts.etsy.com/listing/1754246755/comfy-cats-quilt-pattern-digital. Thanks for watching!
3 shades of tan circles off white for backing. The rest are show pieces. I'd want them upfront. Top of the quilt.
Very nice. Thanks for watching
Number 1 is my pick
Awesome! Thanks for watching
The guitars....definitely.
Good choice. Thanks for watching
I love them all but number one for the win!
I love those guitar pics. Thanks for watching and commenting
Ok, you asked so I give you my opinion since my grandson is a young guitarist. Number 1 and number 3 fabrics -> Use them in blocks, face of quilt. Number 2 fabric: make a separate wall quilt. You could use number 1 fabric for border, it would be very cool. Number 4 fabric use it for backing. I found for my grandson a very nice solid blue with white music notes all over. Very nice, he loved it. Don’t use those big guitars (fabric 2) for the back. Very bad feng shui. The part touching the body should be soft and soothing, to calm the person down before falling asleep. Hope my advice will help you to decide. 🙂
Thanks so much for commenting and you have very good advice. Thanks for watching. Stay tuned for the video I have coming on the making of this quilt.
What happened to the cat fabric that was supposed to be in stores in May. Very interested in the line, but don't remember the name. 😂
Hello and thanks for watching. The cat fabric line for the quilt called Comfy Cats is called Quilt Room Kitties by QT Fabrics and it should be in shops that sell QT Fabrics now.

Hello : This is a beautiful quilt it really caught my eye. When I saw it was a paper piecing quilt I was disappointed. I have been quilting for several years but I have never learn to do paper piecing before. But now that I have made up my mind that I want to do this quilt and learn the paper piecing method. It is going to be a challenge but I know I am up to the task. Where can I get the pattern and instructions. I just love the way this one looks when completed. I have already ordered the add a 1/4 ruler. This was a great tutorial your method is great and your voice is easy to listen to. Thanks for the video and taking your time to teach this technique it will be a lot easier than ripping out all that paper.
Thank you so much for your kind words. They really made my day. That pattern was recently pattern tested and I should be able to put it on my website and Etsy shop very soon. I’ll come back to this comment and let you know when I’ve done that. Thanks again!

Thank you so much for this. I am a quilt teacher in Canada. With the price of rulers combined with exchange, the majority of my students are not purchasing specialty rulers. So I have been searching for a clear concise vid on you tube for them. Your's fits the bill. I'll teach them but your vid will serve as a reference they can use again & again. Sincere thanks for taking the time. ❤
Thanks for watching. I am glad you found the video useful and I hope your students will as well.
