20 rotations? Shouldn’t it already be aligned with the notch? That part is very confusing

So can't you just pull number 1 plug to figure out t.d.c ?

Good Job until it came to removing the chains. You have to use a cam holding tool BEFORE removing anything.

Yea i should've, i didn't though because i was going to be removing the heads anyway

@@slicksloth_416 on the passenger side two of the valves stay slightly open when you take the tensioner off that's why it moved to a neutral position once the tensioner was removed

You should have removed the followers that would have kept the cam from moving LOL. Rookie mistake. But don't feel bad I did the same stupid s*** LOL

I got the cam holding tool now , but if your removing the heads, I don't think it matters doesn't cause any damage

@@texaseliteperformance4471 doesn't matter if you remove the heads off the engine. But with their heads on the engine and changing your timing gears and chains it does matter. This makes it easy to turn it without a load on it from the springs. I learned a lot by my first 4.6. 4V. The cam holding tool is it good tool to have. Better than the four vice grips that I used
