People really underestimate how much competitive battling Jaiden knew even before her coaching session with Wolfey. Hell, she built her entire team for this match before they ever had that collab. This was all her. I watched her VOD of this, and she seemed a little peeved that people kept attributing her skills entirely to Wolfey. Ngl, I was right there with her. She's always been an extremely competent player.

I love how Jack has this nostalgia run when he meets Ray, then after the call ends realizes he disliked a Let’s Play video that had him in it. If Ray saw that I feel like he would be laughing too lol

i was actually watching both Jaiden and Purplecliffe's streams at the same time and i find it funny that while Jaiden's just chilling with her team vibing Purplecliffe was panicking trying to find a zoroark

You passed the cave with the zorua. In the cave with zorua, there is a section where the zorua spawned and you passed it many times. You went into the section with the ice stone.

One is caught up playing the impassioned protagonist in one’s Subjective Narrative of Self 🎈

I’m a so called ‘retired’ competitive player and if I was Jack against Moxxie I would have lost my shit that battle was a cluster fuck of a fight it was ridiculously entertaining for the audience but infuriating for the player, good and bad at the same time

10:56. I used to love the green/blue one, I even caught and trained one in S/V! just to find out that for some weird freakin reason it does not learn earth power! ughh! and only the pink one learns it. I was so frustrated that even I caught a pink gastrodon just to try to eggmove/teach it with mirror herb but to no success.. I was forced to use the pink one.. I hated him at the start but you know what happened? that pink Gastrodon that I hated so much was able to make me win clutch battle time and time again, it was confused and paralyzed with so low accuracy that I doubt he'll be able to hit the opponent but he persevere time and time again.. I said sorry to him, and I love him forever! this is for you ChillEd! I'm proud of you!

Purple in this tournament is like the side side rival like they get decently far in the league but just lose to the more important rival
