I love how John was so surprised at winning the painting contest that he double-taked so hard that both paintbrushes flew out from behind his ear.

This was both hilarious and awesome! I've been a fan of Katie since the Metronome League a few years back, and I've been enjoying Tyler's work too, so it was really cool to see the entire extended JMC family together in person. Also, as a fellow Houston-adjacent Texan, I can vouch for Mikey's answer to the seasons question. But my personal favorite response to that question is, "Almost Summer, Summer, Still Summer, and Christmas." 😆

Honestly I’m impressed with how good Michael and John are able to paint, their paintings looked insane!

Now that you've listed them out, I kind of wish they had one from Gen 6. Rock-climbing, the swinging vines, a rollerblade/skate park, etc. But they'd need a bigger budget for most of them (they're stuff you'd see at a theme park), so I can see why they got skipped.

I don't think I have ever laughed this hard at a video. This was a blast! The sheer time and effort put into this video is incredible! Truly the John Michael cup is the best competition the world has ever seen! (Also as a fellow artist myself, I have to say that your art pieces were incredible both in their own way. Pm7 had a good contrasting background to the Pokémon while Mikey's Pokémon looked really expressive and cartoony. Both were definitely very unique)

I love how when John said Do your worst, they quite literally threw the biggest plushie directly in his face

For the paintings, the reasoning behind why PM7 won is in the comment. Technically, it’s superior. While Mikey’s painting has the Pokémon color be the background and outlines in black, John actually followed valid technique to create the lineless look that gives many paintings their realism.

I've only watched through the yoga part and this already feels like the best John Michael Cup challenge I've ever seen. It may very well be one of the best videos you and John have done ever together! It's such a cool idea to physically try the Gym Challenges IRL!

This was one of the PManjTV7 Cup videos of all time, and it was amazing to be able to laugh and enjoy you guys having fun whilst also in a competitive situation. Cant wait to see the finale.

I was expecting a question about Sandygast for John... "Name a pokemon that was introduced in gen 7 that is inspired by sand".

As much as this would have made for an outstanding season finale, I'm glad this season of the JMC isn't over just yet 😊

this is the first time i see this channel and i just wanna say congrats for making it to trending #7 as of now! I genuinely enjoyed the whole video because they were surprisingly very dramatic and took many twists and turns! i got even more hooked especially when there were many tie breaker moments even though they were all just real results and very likely unscripted 😂 As a pokemon enjoyer, im impressed with the original creative challenges so i hope to see more of yall! maybe this could even be an annual thing and it would be great to see collabs with other pokemon content creators!

This was a fun idea, I hope to see more of these real life Ookemon challenges in future JMCs. Maybe for Motostoke you can do a challenge to see who can catch the most fire types in a given area in Pokemon Go.
