For people who dont know zipzapzop survived because of something called ev. some pokemon gives you for lack of better words hidden stat points to the pokemon that defeated it. So jaiden using marill to level up her pokemon gave the pokemon hp ev with makes it hp harder to be lowered

For reference, she has a pet bir- doggo named Ari so that’s why she named swellow Ari

Idk if anyone else does this in pokemon franchise but here's the thing I do when training weak pokemon: Have them as a first pokemon to use in battle, switch it out and fight the oponent with a stronger pokemon and after winning, the exp is shared among the pokemon who were on the battlefield, including the first one. I did that once when I had a metapod and used the same method, because he only had the move "Harden". Anyway, have a nice day everyone!😃

@@jacesnyder no, it's Pokemon Ruby. If it WAS Emerald, the champion would've been Wallace; but it was Steven. In pokemon sapphire or ruby, the champion is Steven. In Emerald, Steven got replaced with Wallace. So, she's playing pokemon Ruby
