$30 HUGE SEAFOOD FEAST at Palawan's Most Popular Restaurant | PINOY MUKBANG Philippines 🇵🇭
We finally found Sisig on our last day in the Philippines. It is actually sold everywhere, but we were busy with all the festivals at the beginning of our trip. Join us today, as we seek out this signature Filipino food at the popular Kalui Seafood Restaurant in Palawan, and enjoy a HUGE Seafood feast. Sisig is a savory and spicy Filipino dish made from parts of a pig's head and liver (can include chicken or fish), seasoned with calamansi juice, onions, chili peppers, and other spices. The meat is cooked and chopped into small pieces, mixed with the seasoning ingredients, and often served with rice and a fried egg. Sisig is a popular dish in the Philippines and is commonly enjoyed as a main dish or as an appetizer with alcoholic beverages.
After dinner, we wandered over to Gianni’s Gelato for a delicious dessert. This was a great way to end our trip in the Philippines. The kids love gelato and the owner sat with us while we finished our dessert. The vibe in Palawan is really good and we hope to come back again. We know we missed so many more things that the Philippines has to offer, keep sending us your suggestions. We always try to do them on our return trip (since we film videos and then edit/post later).

ABOUT US
We are the Bags Packed Family: Jonathan and Kelly with our three children. We sold our home in Alaska, USA, eight years ago, and headed overseas. We are teachers and found fantastic teaching positions in Chennai, India. Two years later, we moved to the United Arab Emirates. Three years after that, during the beginning of the pandemic, we made the move to our current teaching jobs in Indonesia. We love traveling and finding adventures as a family. We hope that our travels will inspire and provide our children with the confidence to meet new people, try new foods, and enjoy learning a new language. We hope our vlogs will inspire you to get out and travel, too!

This wonderful family deserves much love and support from us Filipinos. 😊
Your kids are adventurous eaters.
Normally a silent subscriber but I love the food content. Thankyou for being so authentic and bringing your kids up in a world of culture and experience
granite is a natural food vlogger for sure. he naturally thinks of showing the food up close to the camera, adds comments that haven’t been added before, and doesn’t cut in while dad is explaining the dishes (totally normal for kids to talk over adults in my opinion so it would be fine either way, but just so lovely to see him comfortable in front of the camera)

Also cedar’s series of reactions to the seaweed was the best hahahaha. Such a joy to be able to witness their first moments trying different types of food (and then even liking them 😊)
Forest famous saying “ ice cream, hotdog together “ 😂 cutest thing ever Lol

Good to know that restaurant is still open! Really great food from over 10yrs ago...
Your children are really great eaters and so happy to have you share with all of us who will never get there.
My girlfriend always telling me about the best sisig she ever had was in palawan..... and one of the reason that fish sisig is good because of its fresh seafood and never frozen.... and that gelato looks really good! Good choice on that ube tho👍
That is unbelievable value for your money, easily be $ 150 back in the US. Me and my wife ate at Ka Lui way back 1995 and I remember paying only P120 ( $ 2.25 ) for a set plate. It came with soup, rice, salad, grilled fish steak and LOBSTER tail. You can't beat that! I remember they have an awesome ambiance.

Just imagine only $28 for that huge amount of food served on your table. That is ridiculous. You can comment on how much that would be in other countries.

Yes, when you have grilled fish then you have the sea grapes as side dish, great combo. I like it better dipped with coconut vinegar 😋
forrest: dah-dhee ay-scleam en hatdawg togedah…got me rolling!
Filipino food is very often saltier or has a stronger flavor than one expects, but its just because almost everything, including a lot of the soups even, are eaten with lots of rice.. I think it maybe came of of a necesity to get full but cost effective = stronger flavour, more rice. If one would like to go low carb, it might be a good idea to tell the waiter that they should tone it down. But if one is not on a diet, just put a lot of rice on the spoon :)
That seaweed’s you eat guys we called it sea grapes its very popular in the Philippines

Im so sad that tourism in Puerto Princesa still not in normal because of pandemic. Because i remember Every night that KALUI are jampacked with customers you need to call them for reservation because its always full. And if you try to walk-in to dine you probably wait 1-2hr to have a table. Now seeing your video i can see less people now.
This is a MUCH HEALTHIER VERSION OF RYAN'S WORLD aka FOREST'S WORLD
If u didn't know this sisig is made for celebration and festivals that's why it's harder to find
sea grapes
At least Kelly had a vegetarian plate coz i feel bad sometimes for her. Philippines is not that much a vegetarian country... hope that restaurants back home will have more menu vegetarians in the future... but over all im addicted to your videos and trips

Hi Tito! Thank you so much for your financial support of our channel. That really means a lot to us. Kelly researched and ended up finding some pretty yummy veg options in the Philippines 🇵🇭. You'll get to see Kelly making a home cooked meal in our next episode!
For all that food is cheap really , but if you get that from Manila BGC. You’ll pay triple I’m sure , btw food is so yumm.
That’s super cheap, with almost everything you ordered are seafoods and that’s lot of food. 👍❤❤
