We are the Bags Packed Family: Jonathan and Kelly with our three children. We sold our home in Alaska, USA, eight years ago, and headed overseas. We are teachers and found fantastic teaching positions in Chennai, India. Two years later, we moved to the United Arab Emirates. Three years after that, during the beginning of the pandemic, we made the move to our current teaching jobs in Indonesia. We love traveling and finding adventures as a family. What an amazing adventure! I have a man crush on this dad. He’s a Super Dad - Forest in one hand, camera in the other, vlogging & trekking, and super cool! Cool family! There is a great story behind the name “Tamilok” which dates back to WW2 when two American GI’s observed the local Filipinos harvesting the woodworm, prompting one to yell to the other “Tommy, look!”.

An incredible experience there. I think the local tamilok population needs to be replenished because it seems they no longer serve the big ones, which I think are more satisfying. That means you were served juvenile tamilok, though those are relatively larger than what are usually sold in restaurants.

Halo halo is a mixture of different sweetened bananas, and the purple is ube( made of taro) there’s custard flan on the top with ice cream. It’s supposed to be mixed thoroughly before eating. Because it’s shaved ice with evaporated milk.

I watched the whole video! I’m from Puerto and I’ve been to the Underground river several times. I’m not sure if they still have it but the Park had a jungle trek as part of their itinerary in the past. It’s a 2hourish trek to the underground river as an alternate to the boat ride to get to the area. But with kids in tow it would be very challenging to do as it really goes through the similar kind of trail you did getting to the zip line.

This was filmed a few months ago.
Seems like the kids love adventure tours. You guys need to go back to Cebu sometime to experience the canyoneering and zip line, swim with the whale sharks, climb Aguinid falls, Osmena peak and other water activities. In this adventure, we can see Cedar was excited and enjoyed the zip line very well. Go kids, explore more! Like mom and dad, you are well traveled and tried foods with no qualms. 😉 Are you still in the country or this was months ago
