Today we left our hotel early and hit the streets of Kuala Lumpur in search of nature, the Batu Caves, and beef noodle soup. The KLCC Park is located at the base of the iconic Petronas Twin Towers. It is a beautiful urban park that offers stunning views and recreational activities. You can take a leisurely stroll around the park, relax by the lake, or enjoy the synchronized fountain show in the evening. The park is also known for its lush greenery and jogging tracks.
After the park, we headed to the Batu Caves. This area is a limestone hill with a series of caves and cave temples, located just outside Kuala Lumpur. The main cave houses a Hindu shrine and is a popular pilgrimage site during the Thaipusam festival. To reach the main cave, you'll need to climb a flight of 272 colorful steps, which can be quite an experience. Beware of the monkeys, maybe leave your snacks in the car! The intricate cave formations and religious significance make it a fascinating place to visit.
We ended the afternoon in Chinatown looking for beef noodle soup. There are many renowned places to try beef noodle soup in Kuala Lumpur. This is a hearty soup, with a robust beef flavor. It includes noodles which are springy, and generous beef slices. Remember that tastes can vary, so it's always good to explore and find your own favorite spots. We suggest doing some research on your own and asking around (taxi drivers usually have great recommendations) to find a good place based on the reputation and popularity of these establishments. We enjoyed both places we visited in this video and would love to hear your feedback.

small tip for Forest- if he's tired in a coffeeshop (and because he's short he looks like he's always standing to eat), you can actually request for more chairs to stack them to make a baby chair! it works and thats how we always do it in singapore and malaysia.

Granite is a food critic/writer in the making. 💪👍😊
My old folks love going to Petaling Street and the surround area. I actually live 15 mins from Batu Caves so we’ll take the MRT (about 30mins) to Petaling Street for a weekend outing.
The Lai Fong coffee shop beef noodles is yummy.
Wow happy family 💕 it
Going down is much much easier. A few years back I was there. Omg... Legs could be wobbly ha...ha... And breathless

Nice Park 🏞️
Congratulations for being one of the very few foreigners to discover Shin Kee Beef Noodles ! One of my favorite spots whenever I visit KL Chinatown. Next time try the dry version.
I’ve visited Batu Caves about 6-7 times and it’s always amazing! I think I was 8 when I first climbed to the very top. 272 steps somehow sounds worse than it actually is. You just keep going and all of a sudden, you’re at the very top and entering the temple complex. They found a spear shaped rock exactly like the one the Hindu God Shiva is depicted as carrying and that is said to be a sign that this is a holy place and it’s been revered ever since. Still visiting right now and they’ve always been free to visit and climb. Personally I think coming down is scarier since you can see how high up you are as you climb down. Going up you have to turn around or look over your shoulder to see that. Going up everything is right in front of you. Seriously vertigo inducing. But am glad you enjoyed your visit to this national treasure.
theres so much more malaysian food you should try! nasi kandar, nasi kerabu, nasi dagang, nasi lemak… roti canai… burger ramly… different types of malay mee and kuihs also
Also showing bak wa (grilled meat ) I could eat probably a kg while I’m there 😂
Hey fam! We were just in Malaysia. We have 4 boys and we loved it at Penang. Was going to stay there for good but has to take care of things back in the USA. We will be back there. Your kids would love Penang. Wishing you guys all the fun and safe travels, always!

Why not u guys try any Malay or Indian stall or restaurant too .. I think is good and new for u guys ..
Hi, I am Malaysian, actually you can get lots of vegetarian foods in Malaysia… about the steam buns, you also can order Kaya bun, coconut bun, Lian Yong pau means lotus seed bun, or you can ask someone there which is vegan or vegetarian food before order…😊
Hope your wife gets more nutritious food. Seems like she eats mostly buns and plain noodles. There are many vegetable dishes and nuts and cheese? Thanks for videoing for us :) Your kids are great !
Greetings... Great video as always.. Any plan to visit Kota Kinabalu?

Forest must be like: errmmmm 272 steps in this weather? No thanks. CARRY ME! Lololol I always love the purest roller coaster of emotions presented by Forest in every video. Cute, lovely and real. Your whole family is lovely and very respectful of people, food and cultures. Thats what we always need to remind ourselves when we're in a foreign land. Nice values to instill and it always starts from family. Bless you and your family! Love from Singapore!

Shin Kee beef noodles is the best of the beef noodle I have eat in my life. Their signature food actually is "Dry" beef noodle, the beef mince mix with the noddle and it come with a lot of flavor. You may try it next times
Nice.Thankyou
Can’t quite understand why folks saying durian tastes garlicky and oniony. Been eating all my life it’s more custardy sweet dessert tasting.
