EXPLORING KUALA LUMPUR: First Impressions and Irresistible $3 BEEF NOODLE SOUP! 🇲🇾

Use our link to get 50% off a Lifetime Subscription with Rosetta Stone! partners.rosettastone.com/bag...
Today we left our hotel early and hit the streets of Kuala Lumpur in search of nature, the Batu Caves, and beef noodle soup. The KLCC Park is located at the base of the iconic Petronas Twin Towers. It is a beautiful urban park that offers stunning views and recreational activities. You can take a leisurely stroll around the park, relax by the lake, or enjoy the synchronized fountain show in the evening. The park is also known for its lush greenery and jogging tracks.
After the park, we headed to the Batu Caves. This area is a limestone hill with a series of caves and cave temples, located just outside Kuala Lumpur. The main cave houses a Hindu shrine and is a popular pilgrimage site during the Thaipusam festival. To reach the main cave, you'll need to climb a flight of 272 colorful steps, which can be quite an experience. Beware of the monkeys, maybe leave your snacks in the car! The intricate cave formations and religious significance make it a fascinating place to visit.
We ended the afternoon in Chinatown looking for beef noodle soup. There are many renowned places to try beef noodle soup in Kuala Lumpur. This is a hearty soup, with a robust beef flavor. It includes noodles which are springy, and generous beef slices. Remember that tastes can vary, so it's always good to explore and find your own favorite spots. We suggest doing some research on your own and asking around (taxi drivers usually have great recommendations) to find a good place based on the reputation and popularity of these establishments. We enjoyed both places we visited in this video and would love to hear your feedback.

small tip for Forest- if he's tired in a coffeeshop (and because he's short he looks like he's always standing to eat), you can actually request for more chairs to stack them to make a baby chair! it works and thats how we always do it in singapore and malaysia.

I’ve visited Batu Caves about 6-7 times and it’s always amazing! I think I was 8 when I first climbed to the very top. 272 steps somehow sounds worse than it actually is. You just keep going and all of a sudden, you’re at the very top and entering the temple complex. They found a spear shaped rock exactly like the one the Hindu God Shiva is depicted as carrying and that is said to be a sign that this is a holy place and it’s been revered ever since. Still visiting right now and they’ve always been free to visit and climb. Personally I think coming down is scarier since you can see how high up you are as you climb down. Going up you have to turn around or look over your shoulder to see that. Going up everything is right in front of you. Seriously vertigo inducing. But am glad you enjoyed your visit to this national treasure.
