My grandad had a staffy. He was as loyal as anything and as daft as a brush, even in his later years. When the time came and the lad passed on, it was the first and only time I ever saw my grandad cry.
Staffordshire Bull Terrier- BEST breed EVER. Once you've owned a Staffy, no other breed will do, awesome dogs, highly intelligent, extremely loyal and affectionate. Huge fun and very entertaining. Utterly fearless.
We’ve had our female staffy for a year now and she is literally the best thing we have ever done. Truly the best breed. Thanks for the great content promoting these four-legged angels ❤️

Angels you say? I am smitten!!
Best breed. I’ve had Staffordshire’s for over 30 years. My children grew up with them.
My last staffy was 16 when she passed (rescue) and my boy is nearly 10(rescued him 4yrs ag) best breed in the world and you never hear negative comments from people who have owned or spent time with the breed we must advocate for our dogs and the breed
I have a staffy ‘rescue’ these last 2 years (now 7) and he’s been the best thing in my life ever !
Good info, thanks Will's breed expert. We've got a 6 month old staffy girl and we've found that the most common perception by people we talk to is not that "they are aggressive dangerous dogs", but that they are "misunderstood, lovely, and don't deserve their bad reputation". It's reassuring and kind of funny that the biggest preconception about the breed that we've encountered seems to be "the preconceptions about the breed are wrong", because the preconception of the preconception being wrong seems more common than the original preconception... If there's one thing I would add, it would be to extend what you said about how much attention then need. Unless you don't work, you work from home, or are able to take your dog to work with you to work and are sure you will be able to spend all day with the dog 99% of days for the rest of it's life, don't get one. If you work full time and would have to leave the dog at home, don't do it. Ours needs attention throughout the day and I am certain she would be completely depressed and destructive if left alone for more than a few hours every now and then.

So true! I’m absolutely in love with my 1 y/o staffie and he needs lots of attention. I never leave him alone for more than a couple hours and even then, I make sure he has lots of special munching toys and treats.
Most underrated dog breed.Let’s keep it that way!
My daughter has just bought a Staffy puppy and I was very very very nervous about him, especially has she as 3 kids, one with severe autism. He is absolutely amazing, so loyal, friendly and eager to please and an absolute pleasure to have around. My cats are not too keen on him though!

As long as the kids and the dog are taught how to interact with each other there will be no problems. That is for all breeds and especially senior dogs. Old dogs just can’t tolerate the things they did when they were young.
My sister and brother in law had a female staffie. She was lovely. Great temperament. Soft as brush. She was great with their kids or visitors. She would stay alone in the house for a few hours. The only thing is she hadn't been trained to walk at heel. She nearly pulled my arm off when I took her a walk. One thing on her mind was to get to the woods. Her muscles were very strong indeed. X
I love my staffy! She has her favorite toy she grabs and has to show it off to everyone she meets lol. Her tail is wagging anytime she is awake. Wonderful dog lots of love to give at cuddle time
Very very good , that really needed to be said in just that way ! I can't thank you enough for putting this video out ! It needs to be plastered every where so every single person alive can see it ! For sure !
Thank you so much to all of you - like each of your videos, very important, interesting and helpful! ♥
Have had staffies for 30years, my 2 girls Mum & daughter lived to 13, my boy wasn't so lucky as a rescue he lived to 5.5, now have 1 girl staffie(very vocal) and a rescue bull mastiff x staffy he's a treat such a beautiful natured boy , won't change breeds, once a lover of these breeds always 💙

My Staffys name is Simone (nina); she is 3 years old, beautiful brindle coat/ white chest, A solid 40lbs. I have 2 young grandchildren she has grown up with, since I purchased her at 9weeks old. she is very tentative, playful, and protective of them and my family at ALL times. she is LOYAL, LOVING and affectionate, and her temperment is off the charts. One of the BEST breeds of dogs in the WORLD. Dog is GOD, spelled backwards. 😇""
I appreciate that information, this was what I was looking for thank you guys.
My Staffy (Cooper) is playing with rottweilers and american bullies (almost 3x his weight) like they are his weight class... And with children he is gentle like a feather. :) I grew up with an american pitbull terrier which was just like him... well a more giant version ofc :) Bull & Terrier breeds are just amazing with a bad reputation due to social/print media (especially in germany) :( Keep your great work up Will!
Too late!! I was "gifted" with a Staffy, as a pitbull!!! She was 2 months old then, when the cousin of a friend of mine ID'd her as a "Staffordshire Terrier". I immediately went online for more info on the breed - and came across your YT channel. EVERYTHING I have read and seen has described my "Gifty" Staffy to a "T"; including the snoring. Mind you, her mother is a Pit (lovely disposition!), and one of her fathers is a Ridgeback (she has a three inch "ridge" a few inches from the back of her neck. She is now one year and 3 months old. Very energetic, very intelligent, always hungry (I measure out her food, so as NOT to overfeed her!), chews on just about everything (I am very careful about that trait), LOVES human contact (she's a master cuddler), LOVES sticks, shoes and a wooley balled up pair of socks. Her vocab is beginning to expand. As for me - I LOVE her a lot, and have absolutely no regrets in accepting such a wonderful "gift" - of which I knew nothing about. Still learning ... and thanks a lot to this YT channel.
Very sensible advice indeed. Well said.
They really are the energizer bunny of dogs!
Good video. It brings up important points concerning owning this breed.
I have a staffy and she's the sweetest and calmest dog I have ever owned. she fits me and my fiancé perfectly along with having kids.
Just reserved one, can't wait to get her/him
My staffy is the most incredible dog I have ever had. He’s so intelligent it is terrifying but hes so sweet and kind and the most loyal mama’s boy there is. As a puppy, an a rescued one at that due to extreme abuse and neglect, he was an absolute terrorist but so worth it. He’s 1.5 years old, almost 2, and I’m so happy he is by my side every day as my medical alert dog. He’s ready to save me at any time and has a beautiful temperament.
I just got me a staffy I rescued mine he fits right in with my xl bully 2 chihuahuas and maltese poodle all dogs deserve a chance
Too smart!! My boy is learning our own sign language, my native language, and how to differentiate between adjectives. I gave him my heart when my ex got him for me 3 years ago!. He is the best boy ever... well, except for the time he locked me out of the house and I had to climb through an unlocked window 😁🤣
Very good and good words💪
Good advice.
I do love the Staffordshire Bull Terrior 😍 My favorite dog ! I had one , he was the best dog in the whole world 🌍🌎🌏 💖
My boy is about 12 now, he looks like a pup still only his face has grayed. Such beautiful dogs
Best dogs in my opinion. Mind was a big softie ❤
my old staffy waz way bigger than the standerd but his waz a big gentle men pure ped aswel nearly 17 when he passed
Just got my first Staffie this week. I can't believe I made it 10 years without a dog and this guy is 7. Either wants to cuddle and/or pay all day
I have a terrier mix. Pete’s mom was a lovely red terrier and unfortunately I she was w dog fighters. A dobi/ Pyrenees showed up at my work hurt badly and I nursed him back to health as he wouldn’t allow anyone near him I did the best I could. All the rescues are full and shelter would have put him down. I did call and the mechanics sent them away said no dog and chocolate hide. Anyway now I’ve got this terrier mix w Doberman and Pyrenees He was mauled when we found each other (he was five weeks vet’s estimate) he stayed w me for two weeks then a sitter and was starved. He would lose his mind periodically since. He is almost 7months now. Hasn’t lost his cool for a couple months now. He’s always with me. I could use some guidance. I just loved his parents and it tears me up I wasn’t able to save them idk where they are. The homeless say the people just tossed mama out, chocolate was ended violently. I kept going back to this property but I still myself am homeless and I was driving semi for work so gone a lot Poor animals man.
Awww Ramsey 🥰 R.I.P fella you were ambassador for the breed
Lol forget self space ,that sofa it's there's , that last bit of food it's there's! 😆
My staffie Thor is my best friend he goes everywhere with me
Can anyone help me in choosing a top notch harness for my adult female? I need something really durable. Thank you. I live in the USA if that helps. ❤
I love these doggos, especially a little short legged brindle named willow, I love ya you lil daft nut bag ❤️
We lost our beautiful girl at the age of 16 & a half years of age, hurt like hell,
I have two, Very High energy and very demanding dogs ! This breed has a history of hip problems so you must keep there weight down.
2 hours of exercise a day I have never heard any owner say this about staffys, two hours is German shorthair pointer & border collie numbers, maybe I’m wrong but two hours seems to be a new trend on KZread videos & articles wen suggesting exercise needs for breeds that fall in to the medium Energy category, giving medium energy breeds the same exercise requirements as high energy breeds i feel Is misleading and prevents people from making informed decisions on what would be the best breed for their lifestyle. The Kennel Club recommends that the energetic Staffy have up to an hour of exercise a day.
I have the best of both worlds my girl is half staffie half APBT not really she is 95 percent work on my part 56 pounds solid muscle she drags me 5 blocks Every day feels like she's pulling my arm out of the socket 18 months old fearless judgemental sensitive loving She is solid muscle looks like the APBT but has the staffie short nose a lot of work and hates other dogs
Its kinda funny but my staffy gets more exhausted on our walks then our play sessions. Usually i walk him for 1 hour in the morning and i play with him on afternoons. This has been the best way for us to approch training, because if i play with him in thw morning and do the «sniffwalk» later. He bearly can stand still😂
I'd like to know how they measure up as both bodyguard and home protector. Are they "too much" for this or overkill as one might say? Also, I don't know about global laws (or local ones, I'll have to look into that), but are staffords a "compulsory dog school" breed of canines? So I'm looking to have one as both a companion and a guard. And they also look totally badazz I'm sure any owner will agree! :) Any comments would be hugely appreciated.
Does anyone have experience with Staffies and other pets like rabbits ? We really want to get a Staffie but we also have 2 rabbits walking around:P Is that doable ?

Rabbits in the house wouldn’t work for my staffy. She would terrorize them unless maybe there was some great training to help the dog accept and respect that they are part of the family. I’m sure there is training to help

My Rosie adored the next door neighbours bunny Simon so much. she’d wait looking out the bedroom window into their garden so she’d know the minute Simon was out and then beg to go play with him. Slightly strange obsession with him but hey it’s a staff and they’re weirdos. Simon enjoyed her company too. We only found out she was good with him when he escaped into our garden and found them chilling out in the flower bed. At first I thought ‘oh no, has she killed the rabbit’ but nope, just buddies having a sunbathe crushing my flowers. Simon did sometimes thump at her when he’d had enough 😂 Then she’d find a human to harass.
This just isn’t true. They are so versatile and only need 10 mins of exercise to be able to relax. Iv had them all my life and never thought “whoa this is just too much energy”
First here
One thing they never tell you about staffys. Their farts are some of the worst smelling farts you will ever smell
Best breed in the world, same as rottie,,,
If you want any dog for sitting on the couch and doing nothing then don’t get a dog. Also, nobody ‘owns’ a dog,

My English staff has killed cats. I'm trying to adopt a Cat with NO claws. I hold the cat while Dog sniffs & kisses her with High wags. The doodles are cool with kitty. But Staffy hmmmmmmm
How dare you guys...
Devil dogs, should be banned.
