First off dude don't excuse people's hate and rudeness. I don't care what this channel is called, there's no point in thinking I'm going to encourage disrespectful people to participate in this community. This channel is called DOGUMENTARY, and every person in this series is featured with their dog(s). I really need you folks to get a grasp on what this channel is doing, I'm not producing custom crafted videos to your individual taste. I'm producing dog videos to earn enough money, to justify the time, money, and energy I put into the channel. This series is intended for a large demographic, if you look at the numbers it is by far my most successful series. Therefore, I will continue to make these videos. I would strongly suggest, that as opposed to telling me how to make videos that you would personally prefer, that you make your own vides. EVERY VIDEO ISN'T FOR EVERYBODY!!! I look forward to seeing your videos with no personal commentary and multiple person's dogs.

You have a lot of ideas but only 80 subscribers, your channel has about 145 views in the last 30 days. I on the other hand have 125k subs and did 2 million views, last month. Please tell me how it is, you feel, you should be telling me how KZread works? Don't take it person but I get about 100 comments a month telling me, what I should do from people who have no fucking clue as to what I do. In actuality all they ever tell me is what they want to see. It's not possible that they could know what 125k people sub to the channel could want to see. So it's basically an exercise in narcissism, disguised as trying to be helpful. If you don't like the videos just stop watching them, I'm very cool with that. ALL VIDEOS AREN'T FOR EVERYBODY!

Years ago my son brought home a Staffie. My wife and I were worried at first, one reason being our toddler granddaughter. We were needlessly worried as the dog (Thor) turned out to be the greatest dog I ever saw. Thor loved the whole family and especially our granddaughter whom Thor looked after and guarded with his life. Thor passed away of old age eight years ago and we miss him to this day. The best breed of dog on this side of the galaxy!

Me and my wife have recently fostered a staffy. We're very used to having a lot of dogs and me personally I really like big dogs and didn't think I would be very impressed by him. About 6 weeks later and I am falling in love with him. Absolutely beautiful dog. So soft and loving. Got him groomed yesterday for the first time and he is looking amazing right now. When we first got him he was fat, had overgrown nails and hives all up his under carriage. Walks morning and night. Which built up to runs. In conjunction with a raw diet to eliminate cheap grain based foods eliminated the above problems. We decided that we will not be looking for a new home for him. This will be his home indefinitely.

My Staff never initiates any aggressive situations with other dogs, but she doesn't hesistate to clap back if another dog comes at her with aggression. Her motto is don't start no stuff, won't be no stuff. She's not a killer, but don't push her!! Lol

Nahhhh they are much much much different than pitbulls, completely different mentality personality and traits, and completely different physical traits and special abilities ( such as the ability bred from the specific terrier to fold it's body fully in half to get out of rabbit holes head first or to fight in a box/pit which is as wide as it's body with no space to move, and to feel no pain and not react when you try to treat the wounds unlike ALL dogs and animals meaning they can be left with children pulling and poking and kicking them and they don't care) you should learn about Staffordshire bullterriers from Brits not Americans and if you want a proper pure bred one you have to get it imported

It's nice to see all the comments from people around the world who have Staffs for family members. I'm sitting about half a mile away from the pub where the breed standard was laid out in the 1800's and nothing pleases me more then knowing that this beautiful breed has found its way around the globe. They are the pinnacle of misunderstood dogs and anyone who has ever had the pleasure of meeting them will know this. Take care of your beloved Staff and they will bring you joy like nothing else.

Very cooperative and desperate to please. Quick learner who doesnt need constant reminding. Needs a strong alpha figure to direct and reinforce acceptable behavior. The enthusiasm is the best part. These dogs will add years on your life as long as you are a good assertive owner.

Thank you for this wonderful view of a Staffy. We adopted a 1-year-old Staffy about 6-7 months ago. She is loving, sweet, cuddly and active with us and our 12-year-old granddaughter. Our girl has some bad habits but we are working on those. She is super smart and learning quickly and I have no doubt we will resolve these shelter issues with time. I know there are many people who believe these are a "dangerous breed" and that is just not true.

  • @drums911

Best dog breed ever! We're with our second pure-bred and she's about to turn 14 yrs old. I came across this video as I'm looking into getting a puppy who will benefit from following our senior's awesome behavior while she's still around. Have to correct you on one thing; owner does not have to be strong. Walking dog should not involve tug-o-war or strength. Owner needs to be firm and have a good understanding of the dog's nature...any dog needs a "pack leader" and if a human doesn't take up that role then the dog will. It's not about strength - in the long run it's about leadership and firm assertion. Owners need to know how to train their pet and how to use the leash properly and needs to get rid of the silly harness fad that so many ill-informed people have taken up. Any dog hauling the owner around has to be properly corrected with proven methods - it's easy. Competent, group obedience training is invaluable; and it should be the owners that learn the most. Such training is on-going. It's not a quick course and then forget it situation. Way too many people fail with dog ownership because they have some convolted idea that a dog is a child and they have skewed notions of what obedience training is all about. Personally, SBT is the only breed I'll ever own.

Hi from the UK! It's so beautiful to see this family speak about their Staffy ❤ ❤ so fantastic to see our beloved nanny dogs being appeciated round the globe 😊 They are fantastic dogs - so affectionate and loving, especially to their little humans. They are really sociable dogs and great with all people. They are good with all other dogs breeds but must be socialised properly to make sure that this happens from a young age. Our staffy (Gracie) is good as gold on her doggy daycare days and group dog walks. She also lives at home with our other dog, a huge ex racer greyhound who we rescued and they adore each other. Her besties at daycare are Spaniels, a Yorkshire Terrier and a Chihuahua lol. My mum is also disabled and walks with a walker. She knows to be really gentle around my mum and will always watch out for her to make sure she is safe. My mum will take Gracie for a short potter along the canal and Gracie is so patient never to pull the walker or my mum over and her whole attention is always fixed on making sure my mum is ok regardless of any other dog distractions. Their bond is very sweet. The only thing I would say is that Staffys are good watchdogs for children and if they feel that any of their family/children of their family are in any danger they will defend them at all costs. They will also alert family members about anyone approaching. But they are not aggressive dogs at all unless provoked like this and are very sweet, loving family dogs. I love how the family also explained that Staffys are energetic and love their walks and playtime, but that they are not like this 24/7! They are calm at home and love to cuddle up on the couch and just be with their family. Staffys are very loyal dogs and their intelligence makes them great to train as they just want to please you. They learn really quickly too 😊

I believe that if the dog has a loving and good family you will get a loving dog. All they want to do is love you and be loved. and what I found out about this breed is that they are very protective of their family. that does not bother me at all either, there is nothing wrong with that.

The Staffordshire Bull Terrier and the American Pit Bull Terrier had a "common ancestor," which was the pit fighting dog of England (which was developed from combinations of the original English bull-baiting dogs and vermin-killing English terriers). The idea that aggression was recently bred out of them is wrong. They never were aggressive dogs, just real good at fighting and very determined to win once in a fight. That doesn't equate to aggressiveness.

Video’s like this are great, i got my staffy 6 years ago, never thought I could love an animal so much, i have had a lot of deaths in my family and friends in that time, i am alone, but my staffy helped me through the very worst of depression, she is an excellent dog, and i love her so much, shes very social and everyone in my neighbourhood knows my dog and never had problems with other dogs or children. The only reason staffies get a bad rap is because when they do bite ,which is really hard to do, they go for the face and throat, but in reality you are more likely to get bit on the hand or leg by a labrador or other so called friendly dogs, definitely the correct choice for you and your family, great video, thanks for sharing 💓 🐕. Btw, your dog is the spitting image of my staffy, even down to the patch on the chest, , great dog. How does Taxi with fireworks, my dog is scared of them, she uncontrollably shakes, its so sad , i hate fireworks, never gave them any thought about fireworks before i got my dog, it makes me sad but there’s nothing i can do, i love her and to watch her cower makes me more sad than angry 😢

My baby suffers during thunderstorms and someone suggested giving a benadryl bc it typically makes one drowsy. I tried it and within 15-20 mins she wasn't shaking anymore and cuddled up and finally took a nap. I would suggest starting with one and see how it works bc the 2nd time I gave her 2 since the dosage should be 3 25mg pills since she weighs almost 90 lbs. She was too groggy for my liking with 2 pills, took a while to wear off and 1 did The trick just fine. The recommended dosage is 1gm per lb of body weight so for a 50 lb dog you would give 2 25mg (benadryl & generic benadryl are 25mg per pill). Start with 1 then if not any better within 30 mins give another or 1/2 depending on body weight. I put it in a piece of cheese and she takes it down no problem. It is hard to watch them and feel helpless.

All dogs get angry, just like all people get angry. Dogs can have scuffles and fights without being deemed dog aggressive. Dogs can growl and dislike other dogs without being dog aggressive. No dog likes every dog, just like no human likes every human. The difference between a dog aggressive dog and one that may have aggressive tendencies is the intensity and the frequency of the aggression. Some dogs may be prone to have aggressive tendencies but that does not mean they are aggressive as a whole. They tend to be a confident and dominant breed, so treat them accordingly, but also as individuals. They are fantastic animals, I can't wait until I can have my own. Great videography I'm completely in love with these little guys

the staffordshire bull terrier is a great breed, just a note on the comment about greyhounds, they do make great pets and are fantastic in the house. they were bred for sprinting not endurance work like border collies. a 20 minute sprint followed by snoozing the day away.

  • @emilyal-zeibak7862

    @emilyal-zeibak7862

I agree with this comment - I have rescued several greyhounds and it's a very common misconception about their exercise needs! They do not need a great deal of exercise, just a 30 - 60 minute max walk daily is ample and they may only need 20 minutes as they get older. Currently my greyhound who is 7 is snoring his head off lounging on the sofa where he has been for the past 4 hours since his walk 😂 We also have a staffy who is 1 years old, and we normally do a loop of the village with my greyhound and then drop him off home, and then I continue the walk for a bit longer with my Staffy.

Actually, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier was first bred for the vile sport in the UK known as Bull Baiting. This was to pin a bulls nose to the floor. They were exceptional at this. They come from two breeds. One is the Bulldog. The second is The Manchester Terrier. They are are still known in England in many places as the Nanny dog.

No they weren't the bull and terrier was created after bull baiting was banned! The b&t went on to become 3 types. 1 of which ended up being the Cradley heath type/ Staffordshire bull terrier! And they wasn't created using the manchester terrier it was a mixture of all English terriers!!

Also, their lineage can be traced back to the time of Queen Boudicca because of the Bulldog, who used huge dogs of ugly countenance. The Romans even took the dogs back to fight in the colliseum

@@crissingram9035 Actually they were used for Bull Baiting which was banned in the UK in 1924. The breed was already known as the nanny dog because in Victorian times, they left children and babies with them knowing that they would be safe. They would use them for the sport and take them home in the evening to be with their family.
